It's also an excellent spot for kitesurfers and kitefoilers to spend a few days. Around noon, the wind picks up from the northwest. That's when the locals start coming out onto the water. Free water and free toilet emptying. Delicious food in the restaurant.

Wonderful spot, super relaxing campsite despite being in the north. We were right on the water, rented a sloop on-site, had bread service, a nice waterfront restaurant, and the village of Akkrum, with its excellent butcher, bakery, and a few restaurants, was within walking distance. We had a truly fantastic weekend!

perfect campsite for all wind-powered sports. Small pebble beach just enough to launch a kite. Water is immediately deep. Steady wind. Neat and tidy campsite. 28 Euros, 2 persons, without electricity.

People are working hard at the camper site: all kinds of earthwork machines are parked there. Thus, the camper was placed in the "normal" parking spaces. Slept wonderfully and peacefully. Ate at the Greek Rhodes; recommended.

Since 2021, the parking price is still 1 euro/hour for the first 3 hours, then 0.75 euros/hour for the remaining hours. Payment from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Feb 11, 2023. In winter this is a paid winter camping site with seasonal pitches. To park for free and without facilities, we drove back a few hundred meters to the parking space on the street called “Lännentie”

27 Dec 22. Unfortunately, the last 2 km to the refuge are closed in winter. You can't get further than the parking spaces at bar Le Fer à Cheval by car. Overnight there.

Arrived on Christmas Eve 2022 on spec. Pre-booking indicated that all places were occupied so drove there on good luck. More than 3 spots were still available… strange! Furthermore, a beautiful location with water, electricity free and possibility to discharge waste (water). Next to the ski slope. 22 euros per night.

During our annual snowkite holidays on the Hardangervidda we regularly come here to discharge dirty water and take in clean water. Always without problems. However, yesterday it turned out that the electricity had failed, so that the building was no longer heated. The result: all water frozen, so no drinking water and the sink to empty the potti-potti also frozen. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch!

Unfortunately, there is now a sign at “Stengt”, meaning closed. Perhaps this only applies in the winter, because the drinking water pipes are mounted on the outside of the building, so it freezes. In winter, therefore, no possibility to obtain clean water. Unfortunately

Quiet overnight place. Close to the Obertauern ski area. Delicious eaten in the restaurant and we did not have to pay for the overnight stay. We didn't need electricity.

The 15 euro payment for the overnight stay is rather vague: in the morning at 08:00 a man knocks at the door asking for 15 euros. No receipt or proof of payment and we had to pay the tourist tax ourselves at the ticket office of the ski passes. This parking space is the only one in the area (during the winter season) where you can park for free during the day.

There is no pool as mentioned by another user. it is also more than 300 meters walk to the beach. The campsite is frequently visited by kitebuggiers at low tide on the beach (a few days every two weeks).

This place and the road to it are not kept clear of snow in the winter. So not accessible in the winter.

The motorhome is not kept free of snow in the winter. The road to it is kept somewhat snow-free until the weather station so we could stand there. It is then far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet.

Quiet place and all previously described comments are correct. What I can add is that there are 6 large waste containers and two clothing collection containers. Occasionally a local drives along to dump his garbage / clothing

April 27, 2018. Nice place, even free electricity, flat terrain, asphalt and good street lighting. Very quiet at night. Beautiful surroundings and nice pop with the mountain bike through the woods!

January 29, 2018. The parking lot is currently half a construction site with work containers and building material. There is sufficient space to park. During the week free parking is from 17:00 to 07:00. In the weekend free from 16:00 to 07:00. Incidentally, there is nowhere that you can stand with the camper.

Quiet place with nice river view. Sun the whole day. The 4 available and spacious camperplaces were already occupied when we arrived but there was more than enough space in the other parking lot. Recommended for every self-supporting camper!

There is now a sign that can discharge rubbish only between 1 April and 31 October.

Excellent! Even in the middle of winter (March 18, 2017), the concrete floor where the dirty water tank is in heated: hence there is no snow on the manhole cover and you do not seek to open the lid.

Mixed without parking facilities at the hotel. Free stay if dinner at hotel. Quiet throughout the night. In the morning the busier because of traffic traveling towards the slopes. Good for one night. 1 km from the ski lift "Panorama Jet Zwieselarm" of the ski area "Dachstein West".

The bakery is still there and came along at 09:15 hr (Saturday). Great place if you're self-sufficient.

Ideal place to stay. Well cared for in every last detail: there is itself a bucket of gravel (and shovel) ready so that you can sprinkle gravel under the blocks to put your RV right ..... fantastic :)

Even in winter it does everything! Spaces are free of snow. 6am current for 1 euro (up to 2400 watts). Reviews are a little crooked so blocks under the wheels necessary. 15 minutes by car to the Wasserkuppe (snow kiting!)
