Went last year lovely pub good food and friendly staff but as usual a couple of rigs parked up slept then went away without-giving the establishment any custom I would never do that ,the landlord needs all the custom he can get so please don,t abuse his generous jesture

Stayed overnight just after lockdown ended ok for 1 night no one bothered us the site is not level at all so high ramps needed or do as I did reverse onto high kerb and leave in gear no water etc but hey ho and there we go nice little town going again soon

Went mid August because of Covid double space which was great spotless clean . Got the odd German camper van parking up just after ticket collector went used showers filled up with water etc then cleared off but hey ho there we go . Lovely town and nice beach would recommend felt totally safe But that’s not unusual in the Netherlands, love the country, people and cleanliness the beer

full unfortunately but, where one gets water etc is a mystery asked a number of germans no answer, Asked Dutch, most helpful as they always are but even they couldn't find water so went to Den Helder instead plenty room there

This pub has just re opened after lockdown. What a lovely find ample parking on 3 levels the landlord even has put a dedicated electric point on the site there,s water also didn’t,t see an emptying area but that wasn,t important to us good beer and wine . They also have a large sitting area outside with chickens and ducks and also goats so good for children The staff are very attentive recomended

Stayed September 19 about a mile and a half from Ferries a nice walk into outskirts of town. couple of pubs and shops no services, but no one bothered us at all handy for overnight stop for Holland ferry . Ps you can get water at petrol station

Went April 2019 rang police (always recommended) no problem as long as you park fairly it,s about 500m to town no toilet emptying but as stated before there is a tap nearby I assume in July/August very busy but it,s ok for 1 night no one bothers you

Went May 19 no services so fill up beforehand fairly steep hill to town but pretty safe at night no one bothered us not level anywhere so levellers needed ok for 1 night though

Lovely town nice inexpensive bar/restaurants clean facilities good supermarket right next to site well recommended went April 2019 ps pretty quiet spot and well lit at night

Went there early 2019 spot on off 1 night there is a tap going into village just before you go up the hill . Ps unless you have a smaller home or one with high chassis Do Not go up the wide hill on the port area you will bottom your vehicle, be warned .I did

Stopped here twice mid september ideal for town 200 metres no services but ideal for new metro which starts in early October 2029 the other sites nearby are always full -one tip don,t stop at the site near ferry unless on a designated spot we were moved on by officials stating we would get a ticket in morning. But this place is ok

Handy spot if you don,t want to try parking for the day in Santander get the train it,s cheap plenty of bar /restaurants typical Spanish food ok . Nice walking around village just make sure you check market day as you can,t park overnight then . clean ,water point and waste ,worth a visit.

I wound,t bother as every time I visit -No places and the road camber is very pronounced Comillas much better

Went early may19 good almost level area quiet and clean if you walk straight down road about 1 km the lovely El Sardinero beach is there or 500 m busses into city 1.3 euros one way lovely city with lots to do . by the way NO m home parking anywhere else in city ,this by a local police officer but a great place to stop

Stopped her 1 night next to nautical club not an official stopover with no water etc but tolerated by police small run down town but lovely views from parking area recommended as long as you fill up and empty out beforehand

Stayed 1 night next to basket ball play area it is a very windy place water on other side of swimming pool very little to do but ok for an overnight stay

Here now ,clean level spot on for town. Lots of eateries and bars lovely steep old town just wish we could do same in uk ( were soft on gypsies ) but hey ho good on you Spain

Stopped here 3 times now ideal for zoo but also ok for stopovers there is a restaurant in village with an Ecuadorean waitress she is so interesting comes from a village called mitu du Mundo in Ecuador it,s exactly the middle of the globe!! But that aside well worth the stopover

Very clean river trips possible ,next to parking there is a climbing wall all for free ,the train didn’t,t bother us and the village had lots of nice eating places well recommended

Went in September great place half mile from town German and Spanish rigs parked outside on car park in morning police issued tickets all for 3 euros !! ? Ps you need a credit card but once you pay you can use other camperstops ( chargeable)

1st review on campercontact had to park slightly off official parking but later on got a spot very near water but not too near, ideal for visiting town loads of cheap bars , overall a good spot though -no trouble at all only downside old dutch lorry come campervan hogged two spots with chairs etc till warden said two places so 2 payments never seen anyone move as fast-moving them!!
