one of our favourite campsites in all of Spain and all good as previously described . 21 euros with acsi card us good value but I don't understand why extra 2.50 per night for 2nd dog ? unfortunately we had noisy neighbours till 2.00am but overall a great experience.

understand from Facebook comments today that their business is having problems with licensing issues and you may not be able to stay overnight. I understand that they still welcome daytime visitors. looks a nice place hence 4 stars.

we came from the North West in our 7 5m van. found access difficult ,very narrow twisting road so we abandoned and went to the next village on the noia road , up by the lighthouse.

good servicing area with about 10 overnight spaces dedicated to motorhomes on flat concrete. we did not stop but looked OK to overnight . quiet area with opportunity to walk dog.

nice place as described. local police asked me to get off a levelling block we were using. Strange that they ignored others who had table, chairs and bbq's out.

be careful if coming from the North and following Google maps. we are 7.5m and ended up on an impossible road so had to abort and turn around. photos show large vans there so must be possible but not the way we were sent by our sat nav.

parking on the grass suspended until end of fiesta season. not sure when that is. you can park on the road around the edge but pretty busy today and nit much space. still a great place to visit

At one with nature in the Picos De Europa.Acebedo is a walking and cycling paradise. The aire sits looking down on the small village, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. All facilities, its free no ehu. There is no shade. A very quiet nights sleep. Unfortunately the bar wasn't open in the town on this visit. it is blissfully, beautiful and easily accessible.

Nature at its best. Fabulous hosts who make you feel very welcome. The field is vast, some trees offer shade. On offer is an outdoor shower, elsan point, fresh water. A lovely outdoor kitchen with bbq ,washing machine, free to use. situated just 15 mins from fabulous waterfalls. clear skies that enable you to see the Eagles that fly by. Two lovely lakes within 40 mins. We shared a bbq with our hosts where we all contributed. We will return.

barrier opens when you drive in , take ticket. on way back from town stop at tourist office and validate ticket at machine outside using card. we were charged 3 euros for a couple of hours parking despite sign saying 12 euros for 24 hours. nice medieval town and worth a stopover if in the area.

Excellent camper area in a lovely situation. €14 per night bookable online which was easy. The spaces are a descent size, Internet excellent, free use of washing machine but only 7kg, I went for an economical wash setting which said 40 to 60 on but after 1 .5 hours it still hadn't finished so turned it off and put it on the 15min rapido wash. The aire is in a lovely situation, surrounded by hills and a 15 min walk to Albarracin

checked yesterday and still closed. shame as could be good as well situated to town. there are sone road parking options nearby if you need to visit the town.

We cannot recommend this site enough, large spacious plots, excellent showers and toilets, friendly staff at the bar and in the reception, cheap beer, excellent pizzas and tapas at the bar. The beach is a 2 minute walk away. Great walking, cycling opportunities fantastic restaurants. We come here often, always get a great night's sleep. Goid price €16 per night for ev on offer.

enjoyed a quiet nite and a menu del dia at the hotel at top end of aire. 12 euros for menu friendly staff. free camping with water fill , disposal and toilet emptying all in working order. Nice short walk to the waterfalls which our dogs enjoyed. Quiet town at this time of year but good for a stopover on tarmac

just got back from visiting Calnegrie and unfortunately this place was empty and access road chained off. hope this is only temporary as one of our favourite places. The new campsite next door was open ,21 euros including electric.. Also a nice spot if you need electric ,showers and toilet.

it's a nice spot for overnight or visit Valencia by train ,without dog. some spaces quite small and despite prebooking we were allocated a narrow one whilst larger plots remained empty. we were also unlucky to be placed next to small children who were allowed to run riot until midnight. Despite an 11.00 pm quiet rule management did nothing. Disappointing on a managed site costing 21 euros with electric.

Nice spot for lovers of quiet places. Good walk around lake and village nearby. Good level concrete to park on.. could do with more visitors! we were on our own again.

A perfect camperstop in a perfect location, all services €18 with electric, lovely grassy pitches, clean showers, bbq area, 5 minute walk to the beach, Lovely forest area and walks close by. Easy to reserve a place, friendly owners. Nothing to dislike.

Excellent stopover, beside the lighthouse offering sea views all around. Nice restaurant 500 metres away and a beautiful sandy bay, had a quiet night. No facilities so come empty and with water.

This was our 3rd time visiting this lovely free camper aire. Very well situated for a visit to this delightful town. It is easy to find, all services, hardstanding pitches. The local policeman pops around and gives you a ticket for the nights you are staying 48 hrs but they did let us stay an extra night. There is a lovely grassy area in front of the aire and a fenced off area for dogs to have a run round. Fantastic tapas in the town plaza

Nice spot away from it all with friendly manager. Biggest problem is no where to empty toilet so for us it did not work . 15 euro with electric ,12 without.

we liked it as a break point when travelling Jaca to Pamplona . Close to main road and easily accessible. Interesting castle and associated buildings. Hotel with nice terrace. Public toilets . As others have said very quiet. We did not stay the night but saw no reason not to.

it's a very nice place but there were signs up saying no overnight stays. we were only stopping for a break and parked just off the main road in a free parking area near the football field. local official drove up whilst using his mobile phone and told us we could not park there but further up. shame could be a really good place and increase tourism for a nice village with a little bit of effort and maybe a toilet drain.

pleased to see this site still available at acsi rates .27 euro ,expensive but OK and good value at this time of year. Good reception and pitches. Then extra 7 euros for our second dog. No extra dog facilities seen , probably cheaper to declare a third human. We left ,nice spot at Salo 22 euros. I think dog owners should boycott these sites who are rapidly increasing their charges for our pets.

yes it's a nice place near a nice town. now 24 euro for 24 hours but that includes electricity. couldn't see any dedicated drinking water taps so you would have to come loaded or us pot washing taps.similar notices warn not to dispose of grey water under pain of fine. haven't found anywhere to dispose of cassette othe than using one of the toilets. similarly warnings not to get chairs out or barbecue. so for us nice place to stop for 24 hours.

large campsite in very busy town. excellent booking in and out. only problem is noise on a Saturday night till 4.00 am. not sure if on or off site but quite disturbing. might be quieter midweek ?

arrived on Friday night for 2 night stay. its as described an we'll run with very efficient arrival and departure teams. Shame that it was very noisy up to 4.00am .Not sure if noise was on or off site. some of the trees need lower branches removing. Overnight noise might be lower mid week ?

yes, stayed there last night with 4 other vans. Maybe half original area chained off as they are working on the beach. room for a few more vans maybe on opposite side of beach. A quiet night after local bar closed and before morning workers arrived. Good stopover for self contained vans as no services.

arrived on Saturday night. just parking on waste ground adjoining dead end road. would have been OK for the night but at 3.00 am wakened by youths chatting loudly outside van. No trouble but didn't quieten down till after 4.00am . might be quieter mid week

for us it works well again. arrived around 11.30 am. barrier lifted and greeted by friendly manager. plenty of space , 14 euro a night including electricity. Everything you need including free showers. Maybe a pool would be nice ! Short walk to great beach with a few bars along the way. Beach says no dogs , shame for us as plenty of room to set aside a dedicated area.. Still recommend

Nice position for visiting city. we found it noisy with dual carriageway and roundabout adjacent. Signs saying Dogs not allowed in park which was a shame although there is waste ground nearby.

it's OK but surrounding area quite industrial. during day noise from swimming pool and nearby railway line. Dogs not allowed in park. We did not stay.

we followed sat nav yo coordinates to arrive at lake side . access was over a ditch so you need good ground clearance .many did but we did not want to risk it so moved on. have been told easier access on other side but not at these coordinates.

as described, great if you like off grid ,easy access to nice beach. Try to come from West. We came from East and had to squeeze thru a narrow hump back bridge. Just doable in our 7.5m Autotrail.

yes it's a great place as described. my only wish is that the owners could more clearly mark which grass place belongs to witch pitch. We went to the lake to find a new arrival had set up camp outside our habitation door. we had to reverse and drive in again so our door was on the otherwise otherwise our dogs would have made a mess of our new neighbours dogs.

we enjoyed overnight stay after visiting the village on a Thursday afternoon. yes toilet facilities are dirty but you can empty elsan ok. water not available , otherwise fine for the night

all still good at £10 a night ,no electric.

we enjoyed it , especially walk around lake next door. 13.8 Euros 2 people ,dog, electric and water. struggled to hear passing trains ,helped by a glass of red wine.

on the other side of town a camping field with gate man for 2 euros 24 hours. don't think any facilities but quiet , beautiful and legal place.

stopped on the beach side on the opposite side of the road with maybe 100 other vans . Beautiful spot for the self contained it there is a no motorhome parking sign and one of the locals advised it had been cleared by Police a few months ago at 7.00am . No fines issued this time though so you take your chances. we managed 3 nights and emptied waste and collected water at the garage in Tarifa.

came on a Sunday travelling from Antiquera, managed to just get thru town with our 7.5m van but not a pleasant experience. This is just the market square where parking appears tolerated when market not on. Great view but would not return unless we downsize.

be careful if coming from the North, our sat nav took us past a couple of turn offs for the village and then tried to turn us back via a road that has been permanently closed off. maybe better to approach from village?

we like it here and have had no difficulties. now charging 15 euros a day which includes 5kw of electricity water , showers and emptying.

Great for overnight stop north of Valence. After the 3m width bollards look for mirror and make a hard u turn to the left which will take you into car park. Designated motor home spots on right. services as described. some noise from nearby railway but we slept well. interesting ancient village. Thanks to the community for providing this clean spot.

Well we enjoyed it but then we like getting back to nature. Yes there is a road but it only leads to a car park so at night not used. You can stand away from the road and we had a quiet night and felt very safe. Policeman came round at 7pm to check we had ticket.Emptying and filling, water to pay at station where you buy ticket down towards marina. Yes a little pricey but very atmospheric. Will call again.

again problems with jeton. got one but toilet door would not open. Shame , otherwise still a great place although could get muddy in wet weather even after shower.

on entering there is a car park on left where overnight is allowed. there is another car park at the end of the entrance road. here you can pay for overnight ticket £7.50 but can only stay during the day , seperate charge £3.50. we arrived 2.00pm , first car park full so bought ticket at second car park for night and returned about 6.00pm when spaces were available. Kelpies look better at night. Quiet night but only water bin for services.

yes, nice quiet place. on arrival there is a post before the barrier. here you get ticket with entry code and pay with card. then drive to barrier where there is a second post. here you input code from ticket and barrier goes up.

another vote for the excellent beet across the road. in fact could be paradise, a few beers then a quick stagger across the road and a good night's sleep. for self contained lovers of quiet places this is very good.

arrived without card or account. struggled at first with barrier but telephoned help number and was told how to achieve access, card and account. 5 euro for card which can be used at any of their sites and 11.50 for access which includes electricity and water. Nice place and a short cycle to battlefields and verdun town.

large carpark as described, many skid marks so we thought could be used as a racetrack later on. didn't stop. better place up road at tannoys in our opinion.

called to fill up fresh water , ok if a bit tight to manoeuvre for anything over 7.5m. Emptying grey and black looked OK. did not see the overnight parking but then we were not intending to stay anyway .

no longer possible to get clean water. we were able to empty waste water but did not stop

there is an aire , entrance just before campsite . we paid 10 euro for 24 hour overnight stay by credit card only at automatic barrier. fresh water and electric extra by jeton available on site. Good overnight or for longer stay to visit good dog friendly beach. not sure if part of the main campsite ?

As described, we arrived to find a group of long termless parked up in a square with washing lines out and being used. Police arrived and told them to take down the lines and appeared to take their details but did not immediately move them on. we decided to move on.

now open again for lovers of quiet places. water and waste emptying available. No electric. Pebble beach opposite and a couple of bars in easy walking distance. Definitely worth the effort to visit.

As described , great hosts who we shared a lovely meal with at very reasonable price. Very quiet and peaceful rural setting. Swimming pool an absolute bonus on hot day. We are 7.5m plus bike rack and managed access OK. larger vehicles might struggle. sandy ground so may be difficult if very wet.

as below good place and would mention cafe de sol in village for a good place to eat and drink.

yes, enjoyed our stay, super helpful staff and good board walk into local town where there are bars and cafes etc. wide pitches which took our 7.5m motorhome and awning easily. water park entry is extra but all good value especially for high season

we stopped on a Friday night and music from local bar went on till 1.30 am. it is a nice spot although walk into old town along busy road with no proper footpath on one side (shady side) is a bit of a drag. Nice old town, plenty of places to eat and drink.

as described mixed beach parking. OK except for smell. rotting seaweed perhaps? Anyway drove us away quickly

Great place if you like cliff top views but very busy in August.

most of the land shown in photos has been fenced off. there is some parallel parking next to road and a small grass area on the other side of the road is used as mixed parking for cars and trailers for boats so a bit chaotic. no signage anywhere either for or against. The beach is great and very close but there are better places to park. we stopped for a couple of hours then moved on. No facilities.

flat paved parking in quiet area although next to children's park. waste bin and not much more.ok for meal stop or maybe overnight.we were the only ones here

agreed good for one night, quiet for us. Nice tapas bar in village next to river.

we enjoyed our stay and had a pitch big enough for our 7.5m van and awning. there is a seperate field, not marked out into pitches where I think you can park without electricity. would definitely come back here. we found beach and town to be reachable by walking.

yes Agreed excellent facility for a very lively town,especially on Fridays!. I would however recommend parking away from the picnic benches as they seem to attract the local drunks. we did not have any real problems and would stop again. we were asked for money by one of the locals and this did cause dome worry, but would not let it put us off revisiting

mum, difficult. if you are in a big motorhome then the drive up from the south is frightening. we are 7.5 m and glad we only had 4 vehicles approach us. Got to the site which looks very nice but very steep access and no good for long overhangs. So not for us but smaller vans might enjoy

Although entrance is well paved it is very steep and vans with long overhangs will struggle as we did with our 7.5 m van. Bottomed going into car park area which is not as steep as van area. Shame as nice and quiet with a nice village nearby.

As described, nice area close to beach and town. We were charged 26 euros per night for larger pitch with electrics in July. We thought this was expensive compared to other areas of Spain but still the best deal we found in this town. Small pitches are quite narrow and may not take an awning. Whilst you can take 100l of water in the price there is no seperate tap for a bottle of drinking water. Super helpful guy runs the place.

only complaint is low hanging branches on a lot of the pitches makes access difficult for 3m + van hight.

Good campsite but expensive, 30 euros for one night with electricity 30th June. Camping Armanello down the road 20 euros per night and closer to Benidorm Town centre.
