Today I had to pay €38,- for an overnight stay from 16/4-17/4 Unfortunately no one in the office to complain. I know that different rates are used, but this is no longer normal.😡

Unfortunately, I have a slightly lesser experience. After the necessary rain showers, it is one mud pool, where you can hardly get out and the wheels keep slipping. And every few hours the power goes out.😡

Nice place. However, I (and 2 other campers) were not allowed to stay there by the local police on November 5, 2024 because we were longer than 5.50m. The place was completely empty for the rest. I was referred to a parking lot at a school. We drove on to Navia.

Great place. The parking meters on the large site do not work for campers and buses. The max here is €3,- for 12 hours for passenger cars. At the parking machine at the entrance of the other (bus) parking you can choose between passenger car and camper. And there you can pay €8,-.

Great place. Today all places are occupied, but campers can still stay on the site. People have paid the full price via the barrier system and are therefore no longer leaving. So just slide them somewhere in between. So the system is not working properly.

Perhaps I, along with 3 other campers, have had a particularly bad time. The part reserved for campers was completely taken up by the cars of visitors to the swimming pool around 3 p.m. The door to the living area could just be opened. There was no room left for other campers who arrived to spend the night.😡 One star because there is option for E/V and power. But in addition to the €13.50, you also have to pay extra for that.

It is one large construction site where only passenger cars can be parked. No more facilities.

There is only an unpaid parking lot. The booth where the lady received the euros is no longer there According to the GNR, parking is permitted during the day. Staying overnight is no longer allowed. If you do it anyway and they don't come to check, you're in luck. If they do come along, you will probably have to dig deep into your pockets.

I was sent away by angry residents because I was supposedly standing in a parking space for residents. Owners of 2 campers that were next to the discharge area were not bothered. So apparently there are only 2 spots and not 4. By the way, there are no signs anywhere that there are pitches.

I don't really understand the negative comments. No idea what some people actually expect from a "camper place". There's nothing wrong with this place. You are right on the Main. Within 15 minutes you are on foot in the center of Wertheim. And the Kaufland supermarket is nearby. And that the water is closed in January seems quite logical to me. And you hear some noise from the traffic on the viaduct above.

The only downside is that the current of the pole is only 2A. Everything else is OK.

Overnight stays are not allowed. Security came by and told me it's a private property. So I could actually leave, but because I said I couldn't find another place in the dark, I was allowed to stay.

According to this site, the campsite is open all year round. We came by on January 7th and the campsite was closed.

Price January 2020 is € 10. Bit much for just staying overnight.

There is only one place where you can stay overnight. That is on the "pier" where the ferries used to arrive. Behind the harbor. In the other places you will be sent away by the police. If you are not at the car, there is a map between the windshield wiper.
