approached via a single track road, the site is a small and friendly one with very helpful owners. a mixture of grass and a few hard standing pitches, some with electrics. the site is a sloping one although the pitches are level. clean shower and toilet facilities, water and recycling. access to rocky shoreline and fabulous views across to the Isle of Mull.

Stopped for one night prior to returning home, very safe [CCTV] and quiet parking in the marina car park. Easy access to the cycle-friendly town of Aguilas. No view but only a short walk / cycle to the beach, promenade and supermarket. No facilities but for 5 euros not a bad stopover.

Lovely, relaxed site with very helpful and pleasant owners, there are showers etc but we did not use these so cannot pass comment. The beach bar was undergoing repairs but was set in a lovely situation. The site is fairly isolated but there looks to be plenty of cycling and walking opportunities. The only downside for us was the constant barking of dogs, in what appeared to be a canine competition of who could bark for the longest and loudest, both on the site and in adjacent villas, during the daytime. On a plus point, all was quiet at night with just the sound of the waves gently brushing the shore!

Bloody Brilliant! Well run site maned by friendly staff set in rural Spain. Large pitches, open, flower-filled meadows [January] to exercise your dog in, quiet country lanes & marked paths in which to cycle or walk. Daily visits from the baker, x 3 visits from greengrocer and weekly visit from artisan cheesemaker keep you stocked up with essentials. When we arrived a BBQ was being held for all the guests - free of charge! We will return :)

Huge campsite which can feel a bit like a retirement complex at times, however, the facilities are first rate as are the supermarket and bars. We stayed here during Storm Gloria and there was no flooding or power cuts. The staff are extremely helpful and there is an enclosed dog exercise area where your pet can run free in safety. There are many long term visitors here so it was nice to escape the complex and explore the many tracks and lanes in the area by bicycle. All in all a well run site but would not be everyone's choice.

A useful stop either heading to or returning from the coast. This is a large, graveled area in front of the new sports center with full facilities including a well insulated fresh water tap. At the time of our visit [January 2020], a new entrance was being made from the road which will make access much easier. The ancient hilltop village has a bakery, pharmacy, hairdresser and small supermarket whilst about 100 yards away is a venta / bistro. The aire was very quiet at night with no boy racers or yapping dogs!

Dramatic landscape in which to spend the night. Medieval castle and hilltop village not forgetting the ancient bridge all surrounded by the vineyards of La Rioja and the Ebro river. The aire is found just below the road and is surprisingly quiet considering the proximity. All the basic service are here with the added bonus of a large grassy picnic area complete with BBQ. An information board found near the entrance contains details of how to download an app which can then be used to discover the history of the village and castle as you explore, all very helpful, the village is really making an effort to encourage tourists to visit.

Great aire, but very, very busy. Packed to capacity and with even motorhomes parking up on grass areas. Quiete a lot of road noise. Advice, get there early!!

Parked here as the aire was very exposed to the weather and packed to the gunnels! Very nicely laid out site with hedges protecting from the wind. Facilites clean and helpful staff, Plenty of hot water.

Lovely site with views across the bay down to the harbour. Very pleasant owners. Terraced parking with only a few vans in during mid September. Very quiet and spacious at this time of year. Upper toilet block closed.

very busy area due to historic fishing village. pleasant site with electrics, shower, washing machine & dryer. Access to beautiful beach beyond the dunes. Washing machine & dryer not functioning properly when we were there, needed a service, so expensive washing process! Lovely part of Brittany.

Very nice site with hard standings, electrics, emptying and fresh water. A quick drive through the stack / farm yard and the site is in front of a beautiful, old farm house. This is a working farm but, being September the dairy herd was not housed for the winter so there were no smells! Very good values for money, the farmer who speaks English, collects payment in the morning. It is a very popular site so be there in good time!

Beautiful views across the bay down to the Mulberry Harbour. Plenty to see in the immediate area with regards to war memorials and sculptures. Downhill walk to the small town of Arromanches with its museums, shops, cafes etc. Very busy in mid-September both the aire, memorial site and town.

Sloping car park with fab views. Water points available around dock, toilet facilities at entrance to car park. Cafe, hotel & sea food restaurant adjacent. Plenty of walks along the canal and through 'rain forest'. Sailings on the last Glasgow Puffer [VIC 32] from quayside. Need to use leveling blocks in upper area of car park. Could be busy in high season.

pleasant site adjacent to River Ouse. Spacious hardstanding pitches. Lovely riverside walks. Well situated for visiting York with the Park & Ride being at the designer Outlet 1.5 miles away. Facilities all clean and tidy.

just to the south of Girvan, Flat parking with the benefit of clean, public lavatories and Dave's Snack Bar. Wonderful views across to Ailsa Craig, Arran and Kintyre beyond. Nice walk / cycleway along beachfront to harbour. Very pleasant.

access via single track road with passing places. Wonderful, peaceful site with views across to Jura and Scarba. Hard standing parking on what had been the car park for a long abandoned ferry. No facilities just the view!

This is an excellent place to stop. It is the SECOND car park with access to the public slipway. Level parking on public car park. No facilities, but excellent walk / cycleway into Largs itself, about a 25 min walk. Views across to Largs Pencil Monument, Great Cumbrae Island & its ferry. Follow signpost to Largs Yacht haven.

fairly busy aire with water and waste, the small supermarket is about 200 metres away and sells the jetons. The troglodyte houses are very interesting as are the flooded paddy fields [rice]. Take a detour and explore the Bardenas Reales you wont be sorry.

Brilliant! Well laid out parking for motorhomes, water and waste being at the olive oil factory. The estate is nicely landscaped and the olive oil is delicious. There is a small shop on site selling various grades of oil.. Well worth a visit. Trust your sat nav!

You pay at the tourist information office [open hours are clearly marked on window], very helpful lady. Flat gravel area with CCTV. All very clean and with lovely views. Interesting old town center and museum, plus several bakeries. We were the only van here!

great site, very rural and at the edge of a small farming community. Wonderful countryside and the added bonus of a small walled medieval village. Water available but not much else. Supermarket and bakery a couple of hundred metres away.

if you book months in advance l guess you have a pitch with a view if you dont, you park on the right hand site which is sandy with little or no view but the facilities are spotless. Direct access to beach and cycle trails close by. Blanes itself is far enough away not to impact on this site.

Lovely rural, coastal site, would have had full marks if only there had been toilet seats! anyway, grass pitches with a few trees dotted about. Shop and restaurant on site. Showers & loos all very clean and staff very pleasant. Direct access to beach and cycle paths. Oh yes, it can be very windy!

Set in the countryside not far from airport, this place has everything, including electric hook ups for free. Gravel parking & unbelievable value. However, this is an industrial dairy farm of over 1000 head of holstein fresians cows which are housed all year round so there is quite a strong smell if the wind is in the wrong direction. Other things to be aware of, as it is a farm there are tractors and early morning milkings! Farm shop on site together with small museum and guided tours of the farm.

Easy access, machine which takes cash to pay for water and overnight stop. Large gravel pitches which all have views towards the mountains. Good quiet location.

Pretty village with bakery and supermarket, gravel parking area at back of village, water and waste found in car park before entering the aire. Lovely walk arounf chateau grounds and lake.

Entry via barrier and credit card. Although adjacent to station, the place was fairly quiet. Large bays, easy access water and waste etc. Difficult to access coming from the town, we saw many motorhomes unable to turn into the entrance.

Gravel parking area adjacent to rugby pitch. Services available together with comfortable club house and bar. £5.00 per night. Kenilworth castle close by and Warwick castle not far away.

Tidy and well laid out village aire with services. Sharp turning into site. Entry via barrier and credit card. All services available on use of touchpad and code. Would have been full marks but water point has quick release fitting not a tap. We used a male, bayonet hose fitting and this worked.

Parking alongside sports hall and adjacent to road so there is noise. Grey water drain and tap for fresh although the ‘on /off’ lever has snapped off. No chemical emptying point.

Large, flat tarmac area. Close to supermarket. Drive over waste water drain, stupid press the button tap. Some early evening noise it very quiet from about 8pm. Well placed to explore this area.

Level, sandy pitches of a decent size. Helpful staff. Well placed to walk / cycle into town where there is a bank & supermarket together with many flamenco and equestrian shops. Clean showers etc and plenty of hot water. Beach 15km away. Site only half full at the time of our visit. Very relaxing and unique campsite and location.

Stopped here first night, easy drive from Santander. Large, level parking area with good service facilities, some noise early evening but quiet during night. Trains not a noticeable problem.

Visited and drove on. Lovely location ruined by large numbers of motor homes parked in like sardines. Signs say 5 vehicles more like 10++++. Local village car park now looking like a campsite.

Ideally placed for first night stop over. Everything works even the WiFi. Friendly, helpful staff. If stopping here, a visit to the medina is a ‘must do’.

Excellent site. High up above the city so the views are worth the drive up. Staff polite and helpful. Toilet and emptying facilities at top of site. Each pitch has water and electrics, whilst WiFi is included in your pitch price.

Nice site, lovely views of lagoon, short ( uphill) walk to town. Crabs and shell fish available from fishermen, fruit and veg from local growers - all brought onto the site to buy.

Family run, rural site. Owners very helpful, everything clean etc, mint tea served at breakfast time. Good spot from which to explore volubilis.

After and interesting and slightly stressful drive through the town to get there, (check your route before you drive into meknes), it turned out to be an excellent stop from which to explore the city.

Excellent site. Peaceful, calming and relaxing. French owned and run so European standard plumbing. Access via untarmaced road. Pitches thoughtfully landscaped with trees and shrubs.

Pleasant spot to spend night. WiFi and water available. Town virtually deserted in January. We parked along sea front as the official aire was full, this, however, was no problem with the guardian in charge of parking.

Stopped here overnight, followed recommendation and enjoyed the hamman spa at the hotel.

Clean and immaculate, friendly and helpful staff. Laundry done for you whilst tagine a and/or couscous can be brought to your van. Close to town with shops and easy access (down hill) to fishing village. Knocked star off for WiFi only available in office and not on whole site and no toilet seats! Recommend

Small family run site comes complete with fast food and small shop. Shower & loo clean as was parking area. Owner very polite and helpful. Free WiFi so ideal as a stop over.

2nd visit, this time in September [previous visit in January]. Clean & tidy with helpful staff. Interesting, historic town adjacent which was celebrating the harvest fiesta which including a Bull Run.

ideal for overnight stop in relation to the Santander ferry. Plenty of space for the large number of m/homes that use this aire. M/home service area was a bit grim, so gave this a miss.

excellent site with fantastic views of surrounding mountains. Interesting village with bakery & dairy [cheese]. 10 euros per night which is collected during the evening by a lady from the tourist office & speaks excellent English, she also provides wifi code. The information board is slightly out of date as it asks for payment to be made at the town hall which was closed.

Free parking alongside river and amongst tall trees. Adjacent to sports facilites and area seems popular with residents for walking.

free parking on owner's front lawn. Slight language problem but Pepe is very friendly. There are resident animals - chickens, piglets, a pony and a dog. The restaurant was not open but payment was offered but refused, so free night. Proper rural spain!

very friendly site with good beach access, onsite restaurant and plentiful clean facilities. Pitch sizes are a bit cramped with haphazard parking by some vehicles. Good market in Muros, excellent beach with resident pod of dolphins.

Stopped for 2 nights in September. Lovely views along the coastline and of the Atlantic Ocean. Staff very helpful but you do need to stock up before saying at this time of year as the onsite shop is closed and bread only available from the restaurant [if it is open]. Cycle rides can be found in both directions. Facilities clean, plenty of hot water some pitches closed due to grass reseeding.

Pleasant site alongside tidal river, grass and hard standing pitches, some with electrics. Walks along edge of salt marsh or into town. Downside, cost. You get a pre-paid card from the on site machine which you can load with € and use at other aires under the camping car park scheme. Price includes wifi, electrics water etc. Oh, when the tide is out, the river becomes salt marsh and mud,

expensive, mainly full of long term visitors, good atmosphere, superb showers!!! well placed for cycling and walking, close to restaurants and the area is not overdeveloped.

good location for visiting Gibraltar, all very clean and tidy with good views of the Rock.

Busy campsite even during winter, showers etc not bad, pitches a bit small. Excellent site for visiting Cadiz and the bodegas lining the river bank.

Very popular site, we had to wait for pitch to become available, perhaps advisable to pre-book. Clean, tidy, well laid out but this is still work in progress due to limited electrical voltage on site, understand owner waiting for upgrading of electrical supply, hence limited EHUs and electric availability [night only].

nicely landscaped & well cared for, looks to have perhaps been a small village camp site [?]. Card entry barrier system, price includes 16A electric hook ups. A well placed stop, close to motorway. Super U just over road.

One of our favourite stop overs, visited again in February 2017 although the water / waste supply was not available for use. New - the aire is in the process of installing a card entry barrier system.
