The prohibition sign clearly shows a tent and a CARAVAN, a general prohibition sign for parking lots in Italy. However, campervans ARE allowed, and according to national traffic regulations, campervans are also permitted to stay overnight in public parking lots. However, camping (chairs, tables, awnings, etc.) is not permitted. The carabinieri do try to ban campervans from some parking lots, but only at the insistence of local residents.

Access via unmanned barrier that opens automatically via license plate recognition (don't stand too close to the barrier!) where you have to give the license plate with the online reservation that is only in Spanish. The reservation can be found on their website that is 5 languages. Or you call the number on the board next to the barrier and when they answer you can ask for the code to open the barrier. In our case it was via the phone.

Coming from the north, you have three official places on the right along the towpath, and on the left you have a parking lot where another six campers are allowed to stand (and stay overnight). The sign with the text "CAMPING-CARS VIDANGE SAUVAGE INTERDIT" is specifically aimed at campers who want to stand here and means "CAMPERS WILD LOZEN VERBODEN", nothing more and nothing less. Hopefully this is now finally clear to everyone who does not have a good command of French.

Friendly welcome with tasty homemade cookies and tea or coffee to your liking. The son speaks perfect English and the father is good at French. All facilities are in order and if you want you can sit on the roof terrace with your own seat. Beautiful views all around with a distant view of the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas. There are seats in the walled garden to protect you if there is too much wind. A pleasant stay.

Wednesday, May 25, 2023: stood alone almost all day, 22° little wind. Fantastic if you like peace. Toilet quite clean, with paper. Fireplace / BBQ and shelter available, wood is not easy to gather unless you look further afield. Meertje is a fishing pond of the local fishing club where you can fish (and take it with you) with the purchase of a permit. Information boards available. walk around the lake is a must.
Sitecode: 12968
Safe parking to visit Barcelona from here by bus. The gentleman at the reception is friendly and informed us well to take the bus to Barcelona. Bus stop at 100m. Price is now € 20 (€ 100 for a month), electricity and services included. Worthless as a motorhome and far too expensive, but the motorhome is safe, which cannot be said of many places in the wide area, which is very unsafe in terms of burglaries.
Sitecode: 101290
Excellent campsite for transit with a freely accessible service area. The Dutch-speaking manager is 4-lingual and comes twice a day and if you want to leave during his absence, you can pay by putting the amount in an envelope and putting it in a letterbox on the spot. On the south side of the campsite is a passage to a sandy beach on the beautiful Célé. A larger beach is a little way downstream.
Sitecode: 100858
I deliberately give 5 stars to pull up the average that is too low; why give a 1 star rating if you haven't even seen the place as "vmp" did on 3/10/2022! Such reviews should be removed. This parking is reserved for campers and can accommodate at least 6 to 7 campers of 8m, is flat, and very quiet. The castle is well worth the 5 € entrance. About 4 restaurants but no bakery.
Sitecode: 13009
During the day you pay 2€ parking costs until 19:00, after that it's free. Only one place with satellite reception, where a tree is missing (see photo). Village in fairly original condition, and there are two dining options in high season. Castle is worth the 9€ (dogs allowed). WiFi at the tourist office. Next to the cemetery, a good zigzag path leads to the top of the rock with a nice view. An "aire touristique" + sanitary facilities are under construction at the Mairie.
Sitecode: 48586
There is a clear sign that motorhomes are allowed in a separate part of the parking lot. Beautiful lawn that is beautifully green in the spring, but after the high season it is barren and yellow. The access road to the car park is a paved gravel road, but the lawn can be difficult in heavy rainfall. Downside: little shade and it can get quite hot in the area. The route down/upstream along the river Le Célé is very winding but beautiful.
Sitecode: 101295
Quiet parking in a quiet area but without shade. Bakery and restaurant at 20m. Walk to "Château des Anglais" at 1.5 km (fortress built against an overhanging rock wall from the time of the English rule.
Sitecode: 4221
Excellent parking space to visit the village with a medieval character and possibly spend the night. Very quiet night, there were seven campers at a good distance from each other. You are standing on a large lawn with a fairly hard surface, which is not a problem, but pay attention in case of heavy rain. A few minutes walk to the center that is worth a visit but that you have seen after an hour.
Sitecode: 101281
If you are self-sufficient, this is a good parking / overnight stay. There is even an eco toilet, including toilet paper. Very spacious and very quiet parking lot, which is flat its everywhere. A small building has recently been added that may contain additional sanitary facilities, but is not yet operational. The village is a few minutes' walk away and has preserved its medieval character quite well. 4€ is ok.
Sitecode: 101282
The parking lot for motorhomes 700m from the center is sufficient for a short visit to the charming medieval village. Can also be used as an overnight place, but very sloping. No amenities. The parking lot in the village has a height parking lot. Restaurant and a Proxi at the beginning of the village. In half an hour you have seen the picturesque medieval center. Nice as a stopover.
Sitecode: 21783
Nothing wrong with this CP. Brive has a "historic center" at 800m (no medieval center). The free parking next to the CP can only be reached via a height restriction and the trucks you see there are from a truck driving school (they can open the height restriction with a key). Free parking is possible at the supermarket Leclerck 200m away, ideal for a short visit to Brive.
Sitecode: 1488
Construction work is now underway on the original site of the motorhome, a water treatment plant is being built. You now have to drive straight to the river, and turn right to the restaurant. There is space to park under the trees on your right. Parking on sand/gravel or grass. Satellite reception almost impossible. The purification station will not be ready in one-two-three, but what about the stench afterwards?
Sitecode: 21949
Mix-P on fine gravel between tall trees on a part of the original car park demarcated with wooden posts (only 1/3). During the school days you will be built in in the morning by the cars of the parents who take their children to school. Fortunately, these are all gone after half an hour. On weekends, the adjacent site is heavily "used" by the local youth. Quite a quiet night.
Sitecode: 78494
You are standing on grass under the cherry trees, so be careful in very wet weather to get away, but the ground is firm. Two to three places and then there is a sign saying "forbidden to all motorized traffic", which is normal for a canal towpath. Nevertheless, day-trippers still park behind the sign and along the lock. Daytime traffic noise, but manageable. There is also an asphalt parking lot across the lock.
Sitecode: 99366
A gem! According to the regulations, you can stay for three days. For my part directly choose motorhome of the year.
Sitecode: 72414
5 stars is too much, but the previous two reviews are about the paid parking at the Canon de Lumbier and you are indeed not allowed to spend the night there. 9 pitches in a semi-circle with space for chairs and table in a quiet area on gravel and grass, fine for one night. Good satellite reception. We don't need more.
Sitecode: 87049
Only 4 places but landing for 2 possible. Located on a small square with playground equipment between the school, sports hall and bar of the open air swimming pool where the toilets of the bar have a shower. The shower is only partially screened and cannot be locked, but it is separated for men and women. The opening hours of the toilets coincide with the opening hours of the bar (until 20:00). The village with all its murals is fun to visit
Sitecode: 24621
You are no longer allowed to park in the indicated parking, prohibited for campers!!! But a little further in and around the colony itself are a number of parking options on sand to visit the church and the colony (see P4N for more details).
Sitecode: 101553
Located on a bad gravel road 1km from the public asphalt road. Very sloping terrain, getting the camper horizontal practically impossible! Reserve by phone with Ricard. Reversing on terrain with a large camper impossible because of sloping terrain and (wet) grass, stay on the central road (you will probably be alone anyway). Distant view of a prison and further on a rendezvous place under a bridge and adjacent forest. †
Sitecode: 101063
Puycelci is quite touristy, so the reserved places for campers are quickly taken. Satellite reception possible in two places, but it is searching. Water via pressure tap at the cemetery wall. Parked cars can make maneuvering difficult, but these are gone at night. Fairly steep footpath to the village but passable. Beautiful medieval village with many restored houses. Two restaurants, a bar and a grocery store.
Sitecode: 101060
Grassed parking, no amenities, but plenty of space for awning, chairs and table, but no shade. Well-maintained village with beautiful antique mansions and a castle with a beautiful flower garden and a carriage museum (10€). Well-maintained public toilets along the river, 50m from a restaurant (limited menu, but there is still a fully-fledged restaurant) with a terrace and a beautiful view over the Allier. Picnic tables along the river.
Sitecode: 101059
Park along the edge of the spacious car park close to the lawn, sit outside and enjoy the wide landscape, rest assured. No facilities but we have them ourselves. The basilica is worth a visit and is free. You can also grab a terrace.
Sitecode: 101106
Very quiet overnight place with three pitches. Restaurant "Le Relais des Billanges" at 500m due north, just past the cemetery. Walking and cycling routes in the area. Thanks to this small community.
Sitecode: 86917
Excellent sani station at the tennis courts. Overnight stays allowed at 100m on the spacious and illuminated car park of the museum "Guerre et Paix en Ardenne". A quiet night is guaranteed there and perfect for walking the dog.
Sitecode: 61492
Tolerance from September 1 to June 1. Large plastic containers are therefore placed in which the cassette can be discharged. If the containers have not yet been placed, you can always discharge at the official CP (48883) which is located 2.5 km south.
Sitecode: 99155
Parking intended for coaches with visitors in front of the gardens of the Abbey of Saint-Georges de Boscherville at 400m, which are worth a visit. There is also extra parking for visitors to the adjacent sports fields. No facilities but very quiet and surrounded by green nature (dog friendly). Bakery in the center at 500m. Very exceptionally, it can be crowded when a competition is held on the petanque grounds behind.
Sitecode: 14675
Arrived on 6/7/21 at 3:00 PM, there were still 20 of the 35 places available. The pitches are 4m wide and more than adequate in length. If you park on the edge, you still have 1.5m free for a table and chairs. Later in the evening there were still a dozen places available. All in all not a bad CP, just a bit overpriced. Restaurant next to the entrance. Dogs not allowed on the beach from 1/04 to 31/09. Water to flush toilet was shut off.
Sitecode: 82014
Mixed parking by the fountain of Notre-Dame-de-Roncier which is worth a visit. Good location 200m from the castle and the center. Very quiet and cared for. But absolutely only suitable up to 6 meters!
Sitecode: 75296
Traveling in our own country by covid19, and our German-speaking part of the country is not that bad (Dutch flag on the right is also for Belgians; discriminating from Campercontact). CP is free, and has everything we need: pitch, quiet, outlet for our dog (forests in abundance) and a restaurant at 10m (open until 9pm). Mussels with fries at 20 €, we will not refuse that!
Sitecode: 65124
When turning the car park, take the first LEFT exit for cars and CARAVANS, NOT for trucks! Then drive LEFT past the petrol station and take the junction 200M further RIGHT for CARAVANS. The last parking strip for caravans is the discharge site. You can discharge and rinse gray and black. You can also stay overnight in the parking spaces for caravans, there are NO signs for campers.
Sitecode: 82653
Dogs are NOT allowed in the Muddus National Park from 1 May to 31 December!
Sitecode: 23349
Service station is located at the far left of the main building. If you arrive on the main road, turn left at the first roundabout of the parking lot, then continue straight for 130m and then turn right, and 100m further you are there. You can indeed spend the night there, but keep in mind that there is also a vending machine for sorting empty glass bottles, which can cause noise pollution.
Sitecode: 13759
The city of Flers does not make a specific motorhome available, but these may be placed on all car parks that are large enough to accommodate a motorhome, taking into account possible local regulations. So yes, you can spend the night on this parking. The service location is at the gas station. And besides the local campsite there are two other service places.
Sitecode: 88246
Quiet and neat spot on the edge of the village. A kilometer from the entrances and exits of the highway which is not disturbing. Picnic tables in the park next door that our dog also liked. On arrival you call the mayor who will receive you (5 € overnight stay + 5 € for a jet for water / electricity). Brasserie La Margoulette at 500m and bar-restaurant Le Pont Royal (dogs allowed) at 800m.
Sitecode: 24869
Northern access road is prohibited for traffic in BOTH directions. You have to go through the center. Do not follow your navigation blindly but follow the signs CITADELLE and / or cimetiere. Once you have passed the closed buildings of the center, you go up the steepest part quite quickly in 1st gear (200m). There were several 8m motorhomes. The citadelle we found very worthwhile (€ 6.6), the center slightly less.
Sitecode: 72823
Only 3 free power connections. Air traffic especially very busy and therefore very disturbing between 7 am and 8 am. No aircraft heard between 11:30 pm and 4:30 am, but the first so at 4:30 am. Places on gravel, grass and asphalt. Good outlet for dogs. Public toilet available.
Sitecode: 67526
Center of Jons is max 3.5T! From the roundabout you first have to enter a one-way street and then a dead-end access road to a private home. Turning around at the service location is difficult, with our 8m motorhome it just went in five movements. Very difficult for longer motorhomes, but they probably won't be allowed into Jons because the center is forbidden for more than 3.5 tons.
Sitecode: 6686
In the first parking lot we had satellite reception, so we stood there, right next to the main road. The night was quiet, no traffic, but the first commuter traffic passed around 5 am. And every hour it became busier and busier, with the highlight being 8 am to 8.30 am. A dish was also open on the other side of the discharge site, but you are equally affected by traffic noise.
Sitecode: 2418
We were there on September 10, a rainy day, and we spent the night without any problems. We were there alone, which is no problem for us. In the evening the ruins of the ruin came on and we stood on the edge of a fairy-tale lighting. A quiet night.
Sitecode: 46736
Coordinates are correct, at the entrance drive 100 m further than you see the motorhome parking on the left. Owner is a friendly lady from Ghent (72 years) who, together with her sister (67 years), produce wine and lavender. If you are not a member of France Passion you pay € 5 / day. No ambient noise (unless they are hunted) and nice and quiet in the morning. Spacious terrain but blocks everywhere.
Sitecode: 12676
During the morning some nuisance from cars, but we did not find it excessive. No marked places for campers, but there is room enough. The electricity did not work, but the free drinking water did. Medieval city area nearby with various good restaurants. well worth a visit.
Sitecode: 63722
Very quiet place next to an old cemetery on the very edge of a beautiful castle park that is equipped with water features and some toys for the little ones. Through the park you can walk to the center in 15 minutes with various catering establishments. Good satellite reception despite the many tall trees around the parking lot.
Sitecode: 62086
First plane that wakes you up around 7:15, then about every 15 ', sometimes after 30'. last flight around 11:30 PM. At 8:00 am loud strokes of the bells. Train to Bilbao 1 € 80 one way (dogs are allowed with a muzzle). Get off at Matiko station and turn right outside and then 300 m downhill and via the famous Zubizuri pedestrian bridge to the Guggenheim (17 € or 9.5 € for seniors).
Sitecode: 5917
June 3: CP unreachable due to fences (festivities?). Campers all gather at the rear of the large asphalt parking behind the regular bus parking. FYI: Covadonga has barriers that block the last 11km to the lakes. You have to continue by bus (€ 9 return). Dogs must be in a bench in the luggage room. You can drive up before 8:30 am, but not recommended with + 7m.
Sitecode: 14202
Difficult maneuvering with 8m! Count on walking 2 km to the cathedral. There are many cathedrals in Spain that are much more beautiful. We also found the old center not so convincingly amazing. So we stepped back only 2 km to the camper and we drove further and left Leon behind us. There may still be beautiful museums, but we cannot enter with our dog.
Sitecode: 41299
The places are indeed quite narrow and in high season I would rather stay away. But mid-May enough space and you can leave a free space anywhere. The beach and the dunes are the main reason to be here. South of the campsite, the beach is a tolerated nude beach (but there are more along the Portuguese coast).
Sitecode: 15326
We drove to Boñar in the afternoon for a "menu del dia" at restaurant La Praillona, but the tables on the terrace were full (you can't enter a dog). At the adjacent cafe Azteca was a table free, and we had a good dinner for 10 €. We thought the CP was fine And as far as camping behavior is concerned, that is simply a Spanish law where nobody is concerned about it, neither are we.
Sitecode: 6009
To visit the city we were at 77200 (much shorter at the center), but for the night we preferred this place. Up to 3.5 tonnes you can also visit the large free asphalt parking right under the wall for a visit, you can't get closer than that. Our dog liked Plaza de Toros with the greenery around it. And we also very suitable for a quiet, quiet night.
Sitecode: 77200
No facilities but a very spacious parking lot very close to the main sights for which you come to Astorga (which? Yes, prepare your trip a bit for hey!). Ask for a free city map at the tourist office near the unsurpassed bishop's palace of Gaudi (never heard of it ... ... just drive on, although the cathedral is worth the effort ...). 😋
Sitecode: 77202
Very large parking lot on asphalt along a not too busy road. Also a second large parking on sand / gravel and a few places on grass. Long narrow antique village that has been almost completely renovated in its original medieval state, including a drain in the middle of the main street. Plenty of accommodation for pilgrims. A few restos but no shop or bakery. Worth a visit.
Sitecode: 24685
Perfect for an overnight stay. The Camino de Santiago (LE-142) in the direction of Astorga is an experience (many curves, paved road, uphill, downhill, narrow passages in the villages) because you can encounter many pilgrims here and fortunately hardly any oncoming traffic (which is not really a problem) is). Expect an average of 30 km / hour.
Sitecode: 75018
Tuesday, May 28, no problem to park the camper (8m) in length over several parking places. By the evening there were five campers. Plan of signposted walking routes free of charge at the information center (at 50 m, also museum) ranging from 4 to 14 km. Several restaurants but usually only eat in the afternoon.
Sitecode: 60321
The beach is officially accessible 2 hours before low tide and 2 hours after low tide you have to get off the beach. There is a tide table on an information board near the restaurant. There is almost no control outside the high season. Even outside the high season and at the most unfavorable time (a few hours before high tide), passers-by are coming and going. You will then find a place.

New CP initiated in February 2019. Spacious flat places, perfect discharge installation with separate water taps. Very quiet at night, a few trains and buses that only disturb the peace in the (not too early) morning. Park next door, nice for our dog. Town not explored due to rain, but certainly has something to offer (drove on, no problem). In short, an example first class!

Coming over the highway from Santiago you can still drive 20 km on asphalted small roads. Fortunately for the most part with a renewed road surface. From La Coruna it is "only" 14 km after third-party roads. At the weekend this place can be very busy with day trippers from the neighborhood (the discharge place may be parked full). You can walk around the lake in fifteen minutes. At least 10 standing places.

2km walk from the parking to the cathedral. With a reliable navigation app on your smartphone that is also suitable for the smaller hiking trails it works in 2km. Dozens of campers can be parked in the car park as long as there is no important match in the sports hall. On Saturday 25/6 the parking was practically empty except for 4 campers. Have not stayed overnight, but see no problem.
Sitecode: 67830
Friday evening 17/5/19 stopped for an overnight stay. Located on the very edge of the center that we have not visited, too far away. At a restaurant (buffet) that attracted a lot of cars during the evening. At 4:00 a.m., 15 minutes of noise nuisance from the last cars driving off (slipping tires, too loud music, talking loudly), then silent. Free service including 2X power.
Sitecode: 67996
Everything at first sight full, unfortunately it would be different here to visit the city. They are forced to stand in the neighboring residential areas where there is sufficient parking space for a visit to the city. The large parking in front of the Lidl was also just (not that of the Lidl itself), but with 8m you risk being built in. Visit the tower of the cathedral (€ 3.75), an experience!

Very quiet night, nothing nuisance, 3 campers. Loos place = grid with turd on top of it, we'll assume of the local wanderer ... Our dog liked the adjacent grove. Nothing wrong with that for one night to "attack" Salamanca afterwards.
Sitecode: 15138
Within the wall, Avila is a town like another with no significant antique center, with the exception of a few historic buildings (cathedral € 6 entrance). The wall is really imposing and that is why Avila is certainly worth a visit, but it seems that the wall has been put around it recently, so well renovated. Dogs are not allowed on the wall!
Sitecode: 74300
No official CP but a very nice place to stand. Practically no through traffic, and seat can go outside. Nuisance from barking dogs possible. Town really medieval and well renovated. Castle to visit (€ 7 Wed-Sun 11-14h & 17-20h). Restaurant "El Corral de Joaquina" has a nice terrace (although walled), a good menu and cuisine and dogs welcome, they are even allowed inside!
Sitecode: 22367
Wednesday 15 May market day on the Plaza Mayor, fairly busy. Suburbs fairly unkempt, center cozy. Enough restos and bars. After the circular walk and a substantial snack at the La Queda bar, the parking lot did not really invite you for an overnight stay. Pedraza (74300) is our next place to sleep.
Sitecode: 18596
Nothing wrong with that except the sawmill that creates a bit of noise, stops at 8:00 PM. 500m away you have the parking for cars that want to visit the canyon, and you can stand there, very quiet. The canyon: 12 km to Puente de los Siete Ojos (the bridge with the 7 eyes = 7 arches), along the banks of the Rio Lobos, almost costant under a roof of pine trees. Did it with the MTB, also possible.
Sitecode: 25667
Great parking to visit effe Ainsa which is definitely worth a visit (is not that big). But for us mainly because of Restaurante Callizo, the absolute world top when it comes to tapas (15 tapas for 80 €). Highly recommended for the true enthusiast who is talking about it. Incidentally enough restaurants here, but beware, half are "tourist traps" (Restos: consult Google).
Sitecode: 43837
Cañon del Rio Lobos is our most beautiful walk ever. Did she want to do with the mountain bike but fortunately first done on foot. Over the full length you really have to cross the river often via (sometimes loose) stepping stones and there are really difficult passages. Take at least one walking stick and better is two, this will really help you if you go for a serious walk. But oh so fantastic !!
Sitecode: 64897
Very quiet night, no traffic even in the early morning (was a Saturday). Very flat and fairly spacious, also suitable for large motorhomes. Relax with the setting sun. Place was fairly free of waste, except in the deeper parts next to the parking, well, who cleans that up? Lots of movement of fishing in the lake, definitely worth the effort of the passionate angler. Our dog was happy here

Today 11 May no water on the tap to flush toilet casette, we still had enough drinking water and so we didn't try. Rinse the drain with its own water and left everything clean. Further on to the CP on the other side of Soria along the banks of the Douro, luckily took place.

Troublesome entry with 8m and more, suddenly goes reasonably steep and hits the ground with our towbar. Parking of municipal open air swimming pool. There were only on May 10, very quiet and flat. Possibly busy during the summer months during the school holidays ...
Sitecode: 19226
Of the 6 official places, the 3 left do not have satellite reception, the 3 right do. By the way, there is still a lot of space left to park and much more on the adjacent parking. Dogs are also enjoying themselves here considering the bicycle and hiking trails. MTB trails with signposting, info at the bicycle shop in the adjacent street.
Sitecode: 74229
There were 4 campers on Saturday 4 May. It is true that there is a sign that refers campers to the nearby campsite, but that would refer to campers who really want to camp. The restaurant in the village below is no longer available. Fortunately we were able to visit restaurant L'oppidum where we could enjoy a very copieuse 4 course meal of honest local dishes for 20 €.

Only stopped to refuel and fill water (free). If you want to discharge the toilet, you must request the key at the cash register (€ 3). Also 4 connections for electricity available (payment per 24h). Would definitely dare to spend the night here.

Sitecode: 14201
We chose Osma en route because it was a little later in the evening and Ayllon we were heading for was 40 km away. CPs from both towns are similar, and we thought Osma would be worth it. However, the choice of cozy restaurants was disappointing. The castle of Gormaz is 11 km away, and you can drive the camper to a parking a few meters from the main entrance (and free).
Sitecode: 74591
Large parking on asphalt, good for an overnight stay. Also one of the alternative starting points of the Bardenas Reales (but you will not find any info here, you have to go to the Centro de Information Bardenas Reales, which is also the starting point for the classic tour of 22km). We slept 200m east, take a slope and then choose a place near the viewpoint, lots of fun.
Sitecode: 66591
Nice parking, nothing wrong with that, only the road to it is just a bit more challenging with an 8 meter, but overall it wasn't too bad, no real problem. We visited Soria especially for Restaurante Baluarte (1-star), but that was a good half-hour walk uphill, so back to the camper downhill, and that was more pleasant than the other way around. Slept well, no noise. Satellite reception in 2 places!
Our dog was happy here
Sitecode: 74992
Sitecode: 1528
The completely renewed CP now definitely deserves a higher score. Spacious places and blocks for one night is not worth the effort. Satellite connection now possible in 8 out of 10 places. The adjacent road gives negligible nuisance. If fully booked option on the adjacent parking (just outside the gate on the right). Restaurant at the lake gives an acceptable three-course menu for 17 €.
Sitecode: 74984
Vézelay is definitely worth a visit, but if you don't have to spend the night, you can also park at Parking du Clos at the foot of the village for 4 € for 4 hours, or longer for more euros but where overnight stays are not allowed. Stay overnight only at Parking des Ruesses for 12 €, but very sloping. Very quiet at night and the way back is downhill, which can be an advantage 🍷🍷🍷🍺🍺🍺 😋.
Sitecode: 9632
No more funfairs to be seen on 2 May. officially 49 parking places for passenger cars on a triangular paved square, but without marked places. These random places must be shared with the campers. Adjacent park was appreciated by our dog. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you are in the center. Great for us to visit one of the most beautiful towns in France.
Sitecode: 8795
Arrived after 20:00 on May 1 and the reception was closed but the gate was still open. Paid 15 € in cash to kitchen help and could drive in for one night without electricity (and without showing paperwork or passport, but we were already satisfied). Great spacious places on a nice turf that could be a little bit shorter. The 8 places on the adjacent CP are continuously fully occupied.
Sitecode: 69643
Between the CP and the river La Garonne (100m) there is a small park with picnic benches. If there are no cars, there are 4 campers on the CP. Baker and butcher at 300 m towards the center. Very noisy about day because of adjacent busy road. Water to pay with bank card (3 € for 10min.). All in all not a bad stopping place for a break, and possibly an overnight stay.
Sitecode: 72476
Parking in the longitudinal direction between the trees next to the Cave Coopérative that can be visited for shopping. Longer camper vans possibly back up to park. From noon you are in the shadow of the building, but therefore no satellite reception. The village has no businesses. And best not drive inside with the camper because of the narrow streets. WC has been destroyed.
Sitecode: 2284
We were very happy with this free parking the previous ski season. The 6 official places were already occupied by campers, so we first stood a few squares between the cars. We were kindly requested by the local police to move us as soon as one of the 6 official places was free. We succeeded the next day. Good parking space.
Sitecode: 4341
CP on former sports ground, accessible via the Allée Ste-Anne. First parking in the Allée Ste-Anne is for cars, but from there there are clear signposts to the new official parking for campers. The narrow steep access road from the north to the village can be avoided if you follow the signs for the "POIDS LOURDS". Village is worth a visit. Public toilets in the center.
Sitecode: 9025
From Saturday to Sunday very quiet, slept well. 12 campers for the 8 official places, but overflow of 5 campers possible. Close to the highway leaving many passers for the night. Via a path next to the river you come to restaurant La Cote d'Or at 500m, which is certainly not a bad choice (very busy, but acceptable waiting times). Is also a pizzeria with takeaway option.
Sitecode: 66992
We found this a great location to visit the Trulli. Fenced parking of the sports complex, but no barrier or gate. The tourist buses also park here, but on another part. You only have to follow the tourist flows to get to the Trulli, a thick 500 meters away. Between 9:00 and 22:00 you pay a fixed amount of 10 €. No facilities. We have not stayed here overnight.
Sitecode: 66986
Free mix-P at 1740m altitude on the north side of Etna at the end of the dead-end road to the Rifugio Citelli, where you can also eat and drink. No facilities unless the facilities of the rifugio / refuge. One km back begins the short walk to the 7 craters of the Monti Sartorius, a nice walk where you walk along the edges of the nearby craters from 1865.
Sitecode: 66980
On the north side of Etna a very large mix-parking at a ski station at 1800m altitude between the lava flows of 2002. Good starting point for hikes on Mount Etna. No facilities available unless a restaurant is left at the junction left, where you can also stand (closes at 19:00). There are several car parks where you can stand. A less visited side of Etna, but beautiful and spectacular.
Sitecode: 6365
Very touristy but also very worthwhile. Just past the entrance of P10 cross the street to P9 and then VIER lifts to the city gate of the historic center. On P10 some places with satellite reception. Four-step blocks needed to level out horizontally.
Sitecode: 41980
Arrived here at noon and let us enjoy the BBQ and the bottle of Montepulciano (6 €). A very special experience in a very special but incredibly beautiful place. Couleur local provided by enthusiastic local residents. We were offered a wild mushroom-cooked cheese with a cheese dish from a friendly local boss, and this was to lick our fingers. Top!
Sitecode: 6928
Arrived around 18:00 and the next morning before 8:00: 6 €. Not a bad price for a quiet guarded parking space reserved especially for campers. The parking attendant led us by bike to the separate area for campers. We had enough time that evening for a visit to the historic center at 300m. A brief city tour and a dinner party.
Sitecode: 47981
The entrance of the main road to the campsite seems tricky, but it is very easy due to the rough road surface in concrete. Sanitary basic with French squat toilets. Lots of space and really grass everywhere. From our dog the campsite gets a big 10. Village and center with shop and some restos at 300m. Many hiking opportunities and a large lake in the vicinity. Mountains around, but satellite reception possible.
Sitecode: 55000
On 12/06/2018 for a completely abandoned campsite. The entrance to the reception was open, but nobody was there. But the large entrance gate for campers / caravans was closed. The campsite gave a totally deserted impression, although you could just enter. Many picnic benches that can apparently be used by day-trippers. The lake is actually a pond. We drove on
Sitecode: 64082
On the coordinates is the parking lot of the visitor center, where you can possibly stay for free, but where you have to report to Pietro and then he drives to the CP 500m further to open the gate of the Foresteria. On the CP all facilities, but flow first from the beginning of August. We had electricity in the Foresteria building itself (bipolar). Hiking and MTB top! 10 € / day.
Sitecode: 7877
Sunday 3/6 at 17:00 arrived at full CP with all Italians. Two hours later, 80% had left and we were able to move where we wanted. CP is apparently loved for a weekend with campers from the region. Sandy beach has almost completely disappeared. Our refrigerator removed the 2Amh fuse. Bread service only in July + Aug. Brazier train next to suitable to let dog out. Shower 0.50 € / 2min.
Sitecode: 15313
According to the signs a parking space especially for campers, but it can be full of cars. Sloping asphalt parking system sandwiched between two access roads located 50 meters apart. 400m to the beginning of the medieval center. No empty facilities, for that you have to go to the other CP in Castelbuono (15295). Good for a city visit. The castle is closed during the siesta hours.
Sitecode: 15295
You have 2 CPs in Castelbuono, this is indicated by the empty sign. Surface reasonably flat and hard, but the entrance has a considerable short bend down. Limited shade of trees, but with the camper close to it still pleasant to sit outside. 700m to the beginning of the medieval center. The "Castello Ventimiglia" closes during the siesta hours. A lot of restaurants.
Sitecode: 48239
The way up is winding, but the gradient is good, no abnormal style, and wide enough to cross oncoming traffic. And a good hornbite just before the hairpin turns can help to warn oncoming traffic. The CP is beautifully situated, but the weeds are already one meter high. Bar-restaurant-pizzeria La Villa at 500m is recommended, and they also sell breakfast cakes.
Sitecode: 7889
Paying mix-parking without any facilities. but you can stay overnight. Please note: the next day at 08:00 the parking time starts to run again (2 € / hour from 08:00 - 20:00). Well located at the beginning of the stairs to the picturesque town with as main attraction the cathedral that really is worthwhile.
Sitecode: 7892
Upon arrival you will receive a brief hand-drawn plan with a number of attractions. To the catacombs with the 2000 mummies is about 400m (dogs allowed, but they can not gnaw at the bones ;-), but the cathedral is 1.5 km from the motorhome and the crossroads "Quattro Canti" at 2 km. For the Teatro Massimo count for 2.5 km. More than 30 degrees a good walk.
Sitecode: 51033
A 10 for the fantastic location on an endless and deserted sandy beach where you can walk for hours without encountering anyone. A lot of shade from tall trees but enough holes in between for satellite reception. At the end of May about 10 campers, but very busy in high season. All facilities available. Low season is pure peace and quiet. The daughter of the house at the reception speaks French and English.
Sitecode: 50811
Note: the Scala dei Turchi are officially closed due to danger of collapse, which is totally ridiculous! Entry can be fined (100 € -1000 €). A gate has been placed at the entrance on the beach and there is an official statement and there are possible guards. The fence can be bypassed and you arrive early or late, then there are no guards. We were kindly asked to leave on the stairs.
Sitecode: 7778
With our back where we sleep to sea, the traffic noise came along, we slept well. Scala dei Turchi is 30min. walk through the beach. Officially, the stairs are closed due to danger of collapse, which is totally ridiculous. There is a fence and there are guards. The fence can be bypassed and you arrive early or late, then there are no guards. We were chased away on the stairs.

Parking 12 € / 24h. Exaggerated price but you can hardly do otherwise, and there is police control. The lift upwards: 30 € / person; then the 4x4 bus: 25 €; and there is € 9 for the mandatory guide; totally 64 € / person. But it is also allowed on foot, then it is free. Free toilets at the lift. Restos close early, self-service open until 6:30 PM. Refrigerator on gas may have less effect due to height.
Sitecode: 11742
10 to raise the much too low average, but 7 or 8 would be more correct. 1 warm and 1 cold shower, 2 toilets. Service area bit artisanal. Good feeling for the whole that can use a little bit of frosting. Free Wifi across the street. If you drive along the north side of Mount Etna you pass a railway bridge with a height sign 2,45m but is at least 4m high.
Sitecode: 65530
We arrived on Monday and then the market on the other parking, but 200m further we found this parking where campers are allowed, and then half cheaper: 5 € / day (1 € / hour). Middle part hardened, and grass around it. 300m to the bus stop next to the petrol station for the circular city bus (1 € / person) to and from Civita. We came back walking, about 1500m.
Sitecode: 28736
Bakker every morning between 8 and 9 am. 4 free hot showers. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. A lot of shade which almost nowhere satellite reception, except just next to the discharge and just behind, but then at 06h00 noise from the cleaning of the bathroom. 110 steps to the not to be missed ancient center and 100m to the beach. The exit is uphill but there is a 2nd flat exit.
Sitecode: 29855
Arrived on Tuesday, May 15 about 17:00 and we were lucky that we still had a place. Ten minutes later the campsite was full. Check out at 12:00, so afterwards no one drives away which means that in the season you check in better in the early afternoon. At the campsite sardienenblik feeling. Add 2 € tax pp and 5 € for electricity. Allow 4 hours for the archaeological site.
Sitecode: 22230
Some old reviews print the average, therefore a 10. Seven marked places but there is room for seven extra. Only 4 power connections available. Bells heard until 12 o'clock at night, no longer afterwards, slept well. From 7 o'clock in the morning traffic noise. Baker, shop and pharmacist about 1 km towards Pallone. No restos in antiques center but worth a visit.
Sitecode: 6818
Arrived here on Monday and then it is market! Stupid! But a parking lot is still 400 meters away. you can perfectly stand with a camper for 5 € per 24h. The gate closes at 20h00 but you can enter it. All in all, this was not a bad place to visit the Civita. We did not stay overnight because we had to go further but it is certainly very quiet.
Sitecode: 5629
Price is 20 € all-in. Four hot showers, but not lockable. A toilet, key at reception. Free bike rental. At the back of the CP is a passage for wild boars that use the CP as a passage between two nature reserves. Can be scary, for both parties 😀. CP next to it has concrete nets as a fence, so wild boar is safe. You can choose. We have not seen them 😏.

Name of the CP has been changed now called "La Sosta di Feniglio". Coordinates are erroneous, must be N42.41569 E11.20671 (right next to CP Da Renzo). Price now 20 € incl. Electricity. Changes have been passed. This CP is just a bit better looked after than the CP just next to it, but at Da Renzo you can borrow bikes for free. And the 4 showers are lockable and not at Da Renzo. Bread and food can be ordered.
Sitecode: 62197
Abnormally large parking for a small medieval abbey and a few houses of which two are a restaurant. The parking lot is illuminated all around with small lighting poles. Traffic is limited and not bothered by the night. Barking dogs in the early morning but fortunately not too close. For us fine as overnight stay or stopover.
Sitecode: 21256
Camper place for visitors to the Pinocio Adventure Park, but the barrier is raised and is locked with a chain so that it can not be lowered. The doors of the power boxes are forced so that you can connect, whatever we have done. Good stopover.
Sitecode: 4494
Official campervan only on the outside in the longitudinal direction right next to the road, and very narrow and rather short. Unofficially and out of season and outside the weekend everyone is everywhere, even though these are all places for cars. Campers pay "tutti i giorni", so EVERY DAY!
Sitecode: 20483
Why should not you stay here? Of course you will not stay on the parking spot yourself, but there is sufficient space in the parking lot.
Sitecode: 6941
The gate is just open, and there is no more surveillance. Only 2 campers on 2/5/18. Quiet night but in the morning traffic noise. The toilets are "cracked" and can no longer be used. Discharge and taking is still possible. Well dog friendly because there is a spacious lawn.
Sitecode: 63024
License plate recognition via camera when entering the car park; when leaving, first key in your number plate at the payment terminal - and pay - then drive off, and if all goes well the camera will recognize your number plate and the barriers will open. Can also be per hour: 1 € / hour. At 400m from the absolutely not to be missed Isola di Ortigia. No facilities and the sea is a working port, you have nothing on.
Sitecode: 61655
Simple straight campsite with spacious and fairly flat pitches, without shadow. Extremely suitable for a night or a day during a passage or for a visit to the medieval fortification in the 2.5 km town of Stolac. All "utilities" included in the very democratic price.
Sitecode: 61391
Half June we were here alone, we had a very nice place. But only 2 or 3 places really met our 8m camper. The other places were either too short or too sloping for our three-stage wheelblocks. Friendly owner. No amenities in the village unless the campsite opposite the campsite is open only in high season. Very quiet and at sea.
Sitecode: 52219
Power can be connected in consultation with the "Keeper of Station"; see instructions on the sanitary napkin (in English). If you take the traffic noise along, this is not too bad place to stay on a transit trip. There are even picnic benches provided and these are behind your camper so you have quite some privacy.
Sitecode: 27113
On our way back from Croatia we could choose between Concorde and Hymer. It became Concorde because my wife wanted to see those sandwiches. Incidentally, a CP is not worth mentioning. Plus, the lawn next door is that our dog could appreciate much. Motorway at 1km in a bird's eye view of which very light obstacle in the night.
Sitecode: 12045
At 1km from the freeway, a quiet mixer park for campers and buses just outside the medieval city gate. Green zone on the edge of the park suitable for dog exhausts. Various restaurants at 100m. Recommend for an overnight stay on and off. No service facilities except trash can.
Sitecode: 60917
At 1km from downtown Hvar. For large campers only a few decent places, up to 6m few problems. Net plumbing and the small swimming pool is a plus. Shadow of olive trees but no problem for dish reception. Gradually, camper pitches are occupied by mobile homes at the expense of the number of free places. Sea and beach accessible by bike but back uphill.
Sitecode: 60819
Sun on textile section, a lot of shadow on FKK section that is more difficult to access to big campers. Parking at the front desk and first find a place. Grocery store and bread service. Restaurant with free wifi and beautiful sea-view terrace. Two small sandy beaches with easy access to the shallow bay. Trailer slope and berths behind pier. Rudimentary discharge site.
Sitecode: 23303
October 24 € camper + 2 persons + power. Very good sanitary. Separate beach for dogs at the far right + shower for dogs. FKK possible by road to the right of the dog beach, but only rocks.
Sitecode: 46411
In October you pay 20 € for 2 people and a spacious place all-in. For that price and with all these facilities you will find little alternatives throughout Croatia. In the high season, I prefer not to be clear, because of price and hassle. But now - early October - I can not find any negative points, so price / quality a 10.
Sitecode: 60629
This pay parking where you can stand for 24 hours is certainly an extra possibility to visit the not-to-be-missed antique town of Korcula on the island of Korcula with the passenger ferry. After your visit you can sleep in and then continue traveling. You can also pay per hour. But a little further you stand for an entire night for 10 €, and you also get more electricity towards the evening.
Sitecode: 24064
After a day of heavy rain we arrived and the lower part of the campsite could not be used for larger campers because they could no longer climb the slope through the muddy surface. Together with three other campers, we got a place close to each other for the saniblock, already not a bad place for two nights. And Mostar is definitely worth a visit.
Sitecode: 22618
This park on a piece of private land is well enough to leave our camper a day and to visit the ferry to the beautiful ancient town of Korcula on the island of Korcula. On last night, the friendly owner asked if we wanted to connect with electricity, which was thankfully accepted. Quiet night but by morning some traffic noise.
Sitecode: 30068
Indeed, for Bosnian terms, no bad campsite. And the Bosnian stew is a must for stewards. The water lakes on the lake around the corner are sights. The town of Jajce a few kilometers is worth a visit because of its ancient fortified castle, but not so much more remains, but also the waterfall. Parking can be just outside the city.
Sitecode: 18755
We had to depart for this campsite five miles from our route, but we have not regretted that second time. We are very glad that we have not only stayed here but have also used the restaurant for delicious meals.
Sitecode: 51204
Three numbered places for campers above but we stood there with seven. Downstairs enough but with a camper longer than 6m not to be done. Shop and restaurant at 3km. Walking around more 9.5km. Sandy beach is replaced by a wooden float with swim ladder. Good for a day or two but on the expensive side. Wifi not even well received anywhere.
Sitecode: 60543
There is only one saniblock of the six still operational. Well, quite fine but dated. Because of this there are a lot of free places on this large campsite. Due to the tall trees there is really a lot of shade but there are only few places with satellite reception. Camping is very suitable for day trips to Dubrovnik, bus stop nearby and ferry service within 10 min.
Sitecode: 21154
Very quiet area, very spacious places, lots of shade under big trees or smaller olive trees. Free and fast Wifi, even to the beach. Shop in the village of Brijesta only open during the high season. No restaurant but meals can be ordered from the friendly owner. One smaller saniblock for camping Vrela and one newer and slightly larger saniblock for camping Zakano.
Sitecode: 11884
Few showers and very impractical, everything is wet. ATM is in operation. Payment can also be made in €. Also in September many people, but plenty of space. 5 kuna for water intake. Chemical toilet take an end to second saniblock. Lozen can be at the back of the property.
Sitecode: 22184
In the pictures the campsite seems quite "artificial" but this is very good. In the direction of Sarajevo, Motel Carousel, where the campsite is located, is located on the left. Original coordinates were 200m wrong, but the improvement was passed. Three ordinary electrical connections, under the roof of the motel. Toilet and shower around the corner (not the stairs).
Sitecode: 29667
Very good overnight stop not too far from the freeway (if set as intermediate point on satnav). On grass but very solid soil, no problem in rainfall. Under beautifully lit church tower but not really disturbing. Six o'clock in the morning I have heard, and seven o'clock you are sure to enjoy it, because then they bend for a couple of minutes. Simple but good dishes to choose from on picture.
Sitecode: 54776
April '17 we saw camper signs in St.Affrique and we searched the campsite that was still missing on our app (immediately added). However, the 3 places were occupied and so we have just passed through. The campsite seems alright, but 3 places are few but better than none. Located in the residential area, a few minutes from the center (Office of Tourism at 400m). Around parking.
Sitecode: 54830
The motorhome of Estaires - also called "Stegers" - is 100m from the Lys (fish), 3 min walk from the center of Belfort, and 5 minutes walk from the park "Batting" (3.5 ha).. with toys, picnic tables and water. Congratulations to the town Estaires for the realization of this beautiful motorhome. Market in Estaires: Thursday and Sunday morning.
Sitecode: 50225
Campers longer than 8 meters can also by the bay. Our camper is 8 meters and we were back 3 meter clearance to the rear gate. There however is a sign "MAX 8 M" ... The sites are, in any event well enough and long enough. you may not use the sanitary facilities of the neighboring campsite.
Sitecode: 54471
We were here in April en route to the coast after visiting the Alhambra in Granada. Fine stopover and stopover if you're self-sufficient. No service. Shade trees. On asphalt or in addition, where we were standing on a hard surface with some grass. Overlooking the lake and the dam. Swimming prohibited but fishing allowed. Two nights with two other campers. Very quiet.
Sitecode: 53399
Parking is ideally located to visit Almeria. At the exit straight ahead and you arrive at the Rambla. This +/- 500m track and turn left and you go towards the old town with cathedral and away the largest of Spain and the Alcazaba Moorish center. Almeria is really worth to visit and hence my high score for well-located parking. Toilets were well closed.
Sitecode: 54401
A simple but quiet parking without any facilities at the foot of the increasing access to the visitor center of the beautiful National Park El Torcal de Antequera. On the parking lot of the visitor center we were evening by two rangers kindly urged to hooping because there may not be overnight. Fortunately there was the car park at the foot of the access road.
Sitecode: 52437
Parking is rearranged and there are now only 12 places reserved for campers. There is no overflow possibility, but they are now 12 spacious pitches. The price has remained as it was: € 12 / 24h and € 3 for elec. But you can just park (if there is space) for several hours. Behind the adjacent museum is an excellent cafeteria that gives direct access to the parking lot.
