Alpencamping Gerlos

We arrived in the afternoon and walked around to see where we could check in. There was a lady sitting on the terrace who looked at us but then just looked the other way. Later it turned out that this was the reception after all. So, no warm welcome for us. "Just find a spot," she said, and nothing else at all, not even a ticket for the gondola that everyone seems to get. In short, an overpriced campsite with an incredibly unfriendly lady. We had to pay €42.20.

Not too large campsite at a farm in Gerlos. Great pitches. Sanitary facilities neat and clean. Wonderful showers! Within walking distance of the Isskogel gondola where you can go for beautiful walks. A nice bike ride is also possible from the campsite. In the morning, we cycled to get bread rolls at the Spar in Gerlos. We paid 41.55 per night for a campervan and 2 adults.

Lovely, quiet, small-scale farm campsite with a fantastic view of the mountains. The sanitary facilities are excellent, but there are too few of them.
