The place is great, but it is inconvenient that you cannot discharge your toilet and water anywhere along the silvretta hochalpstrasse. That means you can't stay here as long as you might like. (the campsites do not have service and were also full)
a great place to stand for 1 2 or 3 nights PROVIDED you are self-sufficient. you are standing on gravel in a parking lot with a phenomenal view. especially visit alte vermunt for something to eat or drink. taking in water can be done on foot with a watering can throwing away dirt can be done at the back right of the parking lot pastos is €23 but standing space is also free for 3 nights, for example. count your profit. you can walk to the cross around the stausee and to hutte
lees meerLovely place,. We were here in the middle of the hot summer of 2022. At an altitude of around 2000 meters it was only 5 degrees there and we could cool off wonderfully. Rondje reservoir is a must and if you want something to eat you can go to the restaurant 220 meters away. There are no facilities at this place, so you can finally use your camper here for what it is intended :). Beautiful nature and the toll of around 23 euros is more than worth it.
