Camperpark Vogelzang

Nice green spot in the city, but very messy and expensive. We paid 25 euros and 5 euros for electricity for 1 night. There are toilets (no paper). We could get water for free. The messiness lies in a number of things: mobile homes set up for (semi/seasonal?) permanent residence, old mobile home wrecks, and a half-collapsed sanitary block (at the back). There is a clubhouse (on a camper site?). The manager was very friendly.

Very basic. Only a toilet is available in the sanitary facilities. Because we often have competitions at the Wezenberg swimming pool, we stay here regularly, as the location is good. €25 + €5 electricity per night just to be ‘safely’ off the public road. Very friendly owners, though. The City of Antwerp and/or Expo are supposedly the owners and should urgently address this place (showers, landscaping, etc.), but it is probably not a priority.

The location is only partially positive. Free pitches among the trees, electricity charges apply, and the charging stations are quite close. The price is relatively high considering there are no showers and the restrooms are quite dated. Improvement
