An den Weyern

We've stayed here three times now, often on our way there and back. It's a great place to stay overnight. It's nice and quiet in the evenings, and yes, a few cars do pass by, but it's just a parking lot. It's also ideal for dogs, as you can easily walk them here. The grounds are lit, but you won't be bothered by it.

The spots are in a mixed parking lot, quite slanted, so you'll need to wedge them in. We were here on Thursday, and there was a lot of back and forth driving to and from the football field. They drive fast and right past your campervan. It would be helpful if the entrance to the campervan sites were closed so that cars can't take the shortest route to the football field, but one entrance further.

Hey camper, know who you are. Now. I fled from that aggressive Belgian who you're not allowed to ask if his camper is the other way around, just like we're all standing there, nose first. He comes in between, just wrong for everyone. But a Dutchman can't ask a Belgian anything anymore. I went A for my wife, who is a serious heart patient. B, that was his luck, otherwise I would have let that Belgian mayor walk around like a maniac. 🙏
