Camping De Chenefleur

Due to a camper breakdown on the nearby highway, we spent an afternoon and evening here last week at a very beautiful, paved spot right on the Semois River! Unfortunately, the bread service was no longer available, and the reception had been moved to the adjacent restaurant. End of the season?? Nevertheless, we received a friendly and understanding welcome from the Dutch-speaking owner. The bathroom facilities were spotless, nothing to complain about.

We spent a few days there last week with our campervan, and the staff were very friendly! There were plenty of activities for young children. We hadn't read the website properly; we thought the campsite also offered some activities, such as canoeing. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The shop is very small and doesn't have much selection, so we cycled to the nearest supermarket.

Family campsite, not for peace and quiet. Lots of young families, naturally with lots of children. It would be a lovely campsite for those visitors. Music often plays throughout the campsite, creating a lively atmosphere, for the children during the day and for their parents in the evening. If you're looking for a quiet campsite, definitely keep going. Everything else is well-organized. However, €145 for three nights (during peak season, with a dog) is too expensive. We left after two nights.
