Camping Duinezwin

It took us a little while to get used to things ;-) when we arrived, but we definitely had a great time. It was nice that it was quiet between 11 pm and 7 am, except for the night there was a festival across the street and the neighbor's dog barking :-0 It took a bit of searching to find the showers, which are a bit small and have few dishwashing areas, but we felt this was a deterrent. The surrounding area is fantastic, with beautiful beaches and plenty to do!

A huge campsite, part of the "camping street" with at least four large campsites next to each other. You really have to love this place; it was too big for us. At €51 for one night with four people in a 6m campervan, it's pricey, considering you have to bring your own toilet paper and pay €1 for every 6 minutes to shower.

Large campsite, with many mobile homes. We had a nice spot with our own water tap at the back of the campsite. The sanitary facilities were excellent and clean, and the 6-minute shower token was sufficient. (Just make sure you put the token in the correct dispenser on the outside!) Ostend is easily accessible by bike, and supermarkets (three in a row!) are nearby.
