Klein Strand

Old and dated just been left to go downhill, investment needed. Visited out of season. miserable staff, bar stank of stale cigarettes and toilet block smelt of sewage. Pitty as we stayed here many years ago with the kids and enjoyed it. Would not return.

The campsite is divided into two areas, with the swimming beach located on the side of the (permanently occupied?) mobile homes, not the tourist pitches. The sanitary facilities are outdated and therefore not exactly clean anymore. No offense to the cleaning team, as they do try to keep things clean. The pitches are fine, but there's little atmosphere overall. Bruges is conveniently close, even by bike.

Huge campsite with more than 150 pitches of 100 m2 each, well-wooded and well-maintained, very little lighting at night, adequate toilets but nothing more, the ACSI card gives you access to the lake beach for one day for a price of €37. The wifi network does not work. Too expensive...but 20 minutes from Bruges!!
