Kompas Camping Westende is a cozy campsite near the beach (less than a 10-minute walk through the dunes), where you can enjoy lots of peace and space with your family and friends. You can book a camper pitch with your camper up to 105 m² or a camping pitch with private sanitary facilities.

The use of all campsite facilities is included in the price of your overnight stay. The water playground is open from May to September.

September 10, 2025 - September 12, 2025 Very friendly welcome, with ACSI €21 for 2 people. We were assigned a large pitch near the main sanitary facilities (with sufficient toilets and showers) with washing machines and dryers, €7 each for one brand. The sanitary facilities were in excellent condition, spotlessly clean, highly recommended. Pitches and dune pitches, as already described...

The Dune pitches are a disaster, €54/night for 2 people. The pitch wasn't 50m2 instead of the promised 100m2. A 7.5m2 campervan, according to them, wouldn't fit in, but only 9m. We contacted reception and, if not satisfied, sent an email. After three weeks, still no response! Talk about service! If they don't resurface this area, it will be the last time for us, and judging by the reactions from others on site, for many others.

When you are in your spot (standard spot), it is difficult for the driver to get out because a hedge is much too close. If you are not careful, your back will be open or your clothes torn by the hedge. Next to your camper is a small gas square, and if you are not careful when getting out, you will hit your feet, because there is a drain right in front of your living area door. Scandalous, only one toilet and two showers for men at that spot; there used to be many more.
