3 tips for making optimal use of the Campercontact app

It's time for your next camper trip. But you still have no idea where you actually want to go. Whether you want to head to the sun, the mountains, the snow, or the forests, it doesn’t matter. Still, you want to have some sort of plan. Fortunately, it’s very easy to map out a trip with the Campercontact app. How do you do that? We’ve already figured it out for you.

Filter your search results

When you open the Campercontact app, you immediately see all camper locations near you. Viewing all those places, reading reviews, checking photos, and deciding whether it's a yes or no... Nobody wants to do that. But with the right filters, only the locations that perfectly match your preferences will come up. Tap the filter icon and start filtering. Determine what's important to you and what you absolutely need at a location.

🌿 Type of location

Do you want to stay at a campsite, or do you prefer a camper spot or are you just looking for a service area?

🌿 Facilities

Do you need electricity, want to take a shower, or do some laundry? Select the facilities that are important to you.

🌿 Terrain

Whether you prefer staying with local (wine) farmers, are just looking for a tolerated camping spot, or want to stay in a secured area.

🌿 Surroundings

Choose the environmental features that are important to you: forest, mountains, water, city, fishing, skiing, or more.

Location clear? Start planning!

Thanks to the filters, you've probably found a great location quite easily, right? Are you unsure if the access road to the camper site is suitable for your camper? Use the satellite view to get a better idea of the camper site and its surroundings.

Straight into navigation

In the app, you can also directly send the route to your favorite navigation app. Choose from Google Maps, Apple Maps, TomTom Go, or Waze, and the route will be immediately available to you. Start the engine, and off you go. Still want to check if there's a spot available? Click on 'phone' In the app, to call the camper site directly. Or book a spot yourself via the 'book' button. Handy, isn't it?

How to make a booking right away?

Handy travel planner

Have you set your next travel destination and planned a longer trip? In the app, you will discover where you can spend the night along the way. With the travel planner, you can easily map out your route and find camper sites along the way.

List up all your favourites

For example, create a list of favourites per country or per camper trip. This way, you can already plan some things in advance. If you come across something beautiful, save it to your favorites for later.
