Camp Turjanica

A wonderful place. We stayed here for four days and enjoyed the peace and quiet, the friendly atmosphere, and the fun we had with the campsite owner. We took a lovely bike ride in the area.

What tranquility! Driving along beautiful roads, we arrived at the campsite. The owner welcomed us and immediately offered us a glass of plum gin. This is distilled by Drago (the very friendly owner) and his family. Strong stuff. We happened to be the only ones there, which was nice and quiet, but if you're coming here with children, it's truly wonderful. There's a nice walk (3 km), a lawn, and a stream where they can play.

What a fantastic place! Peace, greenery, and Bosnian hospitality. Simply fantastic! Highly recommended if you enjoy rustic camping. Note: Google Maps will lead you in the wrong direction. Be sure to follow the signs and stick to them (see photos). The route to the camp is completely paved; if you end up on an unpaved road, you're on the wrong route! So just keep following the signs, and you'll be fine!
