Camping place Bear

A very nice campsite with all the amenities you need for a few nights. Very friendly owners, and the daughter was very helpful with booking tickets for the nearby Plitvice Lakes. It is a bit dated, but everything works. Nice sheltered spots and sunny spots. So plenty of choice. They have 30 pitches. There were still plenty empty, so we were allowed to pick our own spot. Worth a return visit.

After reading reviews that it fills up early, we drove to the campsite on time. We arrived at 11 am, but check-in wasn't until 1 pm. We were advised to visit the park first. When asked if it wouldn't be full later in the day, he indicated that it was quiet and never full. Later in the afternoon, we received friendly assistance, chose our own spot, and paid in cash. The stars are for the location, on the road to the park.
