Camp Kanic

Very nice site with (thank goodness) many overgrown pitches. +: Super quiet. Bread roll service. Plenty of very clean showers and toilets. Great swimming bay, also for dogs. 16A electricity included. Very friendly operator. Partial sea views from the pitch. -: Paths and driveways with some heavily overhanging branches. (They tore off the end cap of our awning - 3m high). Somewhat uneven. Hardly possible to stand upright without jack stands.

Neat terraced campsite with its own swimming bay. Clean facilities. Two major drawbacks for us: 1. With a slightly higher campervan, it's difficult to find a spot without branches on the roof or sides. This applies to both the paths and the pitches. 2. The campsite is isolated on a busy road with fast traffic. This makes walking or cycling unpleasant.

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful campsite - which closes for the season on 15 October. Our pitch (# 11) was perfect and for €23 a night (ACSI price) plus minimal tourist tax, we had no complaints. Friendly staff, bakery service, lovely clean, hot showers. The sea terrace was just perfect, and the sea itself was lovely to swim in. We would love to have stayed for longer. The only downside was that there were no shops in the immediate vicinity.
