Camping Kemp Merkur

Stayed at this campsite for 2 nights with the camper. Had read the reviews and were a bit hesitant. It is certainly chaotic. Finding your own spot and that was a bit of a challenge. Cars are parked everywhere. Found a spot on the white part. Many families and quiet at night. Small lake for swimming and 2 restaurants nearby. Because of the heat we wanted to go to Aqualand Moravia. Super nice complex with slides. When it is busy there are long queues.

It looked great when we arrived but when we got there it was CHAOS. 30 minutes of driving around to find a spot with electricity. Plenty to do but quite expensive. 1 round on a funfair attraction was €6. We paid €48 for a camper with 2 adults and 3 kids for one night. Initially we were going to stay 2 nights but we didn't feel completely comfortable there. Nice if you are 20 and looking for a party camping incl. coffee shop.

If you like crowds then this is the place for you. lots of entertainment Water park on water, water ski, Aqua park, small fair, plenty of eateries, bar street. Big places. Sanitary facilities not very clean at rush hour due to crowds. Hence 1 star. we were happy that this was our transit campsite. For 40 czk extra your own place instead of in the open space
