Camp Znojmo

A busy campsite, which at times feels more like a chaotic parking lot with cars driving back and forth. Very enjoyable bike rides from the campsite to the former Iron Curtain and the Austrian wine town of Retz.

A ‘sports’ campsite. Many people who go mountain biking, hiking or canoeing from here. The beach volleyball court is used for enthusiastic practice and play. 5 showers that are nice and spacious and provide plenty of water. Maybe a few toilets and washing facilities, too few compared to the number of guests. Very centrally located compared to the city, at the starting point of several routes and next to the river. Remarkably quiet in the evening. Reception is Czech, restaurant.

simple camping. mainly tents (groups). yet it was quiet before 2200 hours.
