Urban Camp

Paved parking area. The city is nearby. The showers and toilets are clean, pleasantly heated, and free. You can fill up with clean water and empty your toilet of grey water.

The campsite is practical, relatively close to the center, and serves its purpose. At the time of our visit, one of the toilet facilities was closed, and the site appeared to have suffered from winter weather. For us, it didn't live up to the sunny opening photos. The surrounding area, a former bus station with an industrial wasteland, is rather neglected. The shift work of the MetroService is noticeable, but not bothersome. At just under €40 for 3 people per night, it's worth considering! ...

We were there on February 9th; the entire site was covered in snow at 0 degrees Celsius. Check-in at reception via a debit card machine worked perfectly. Excellent showers and toilets in a portable cabin; clean and nice and warm. There was a timer, though. We took an Uber to Central Station in 10 minutes, where we explored the city with a guide. Great location!
