Camping de la Chalaronne

We stayed there overnight with the camper. Part of the campsite is occupied by some older French people who come across as a bit surly. The renovated section has a number of nice chalets. Nice restaurant and bar with friendly and helpful staff. The village is within walking distance; we really visited the nice flea market on Sunday. The villages to visit in the area are nice.

A friendly welcome and well-maintained pitches. Wonderfully quiet and a village just a stone's throw away. The sanitary facilities were clean (without toilet seat and paper, but we managed), the shower was lovely and warm, and the grounds have been reseeded in places with new planting. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

Great spacious spot though many regular guests sanitary facilities are okay, but the toilet without a seat and the toilet paper aren't great. The place to get water and empty the tank is not very convenient, especially not with a large camper.
