Camping des Lacs

Rural spot, just the kind of French campsite you want! The sanitary facilities aren't luxurious, but they are fine. We are staying an extra night because of the atmosphere.

A fine welcome and a shady pitch in 35C… facilities very nice except for no toilet paper and nowhere to put your own other than on the floor… why does this still happen in France?

A lovely campsite with large pitches, sun and shade with large old trees, also a small stream; look around yourself to choose. Very hospitable and service-oriented owner, who also speaks English. Bread roll service. (Snack) bar only open on weekends. Right opposite the campsite is a nice swimming lake. The owner came by yesterday specifically to do a round to warn of possible strong winds. Nice cycling and walking, routes at reception.
