We received a very friendly welcome, because the ground was very swampy, we were allowed to stand on the path, nice and close to the river. Excellent sanitary facilities, nice hot shower. We ate a delicious pizza at l'Edgar, in the village, very close to the campsite.
Everything a campsite should have. Beautiful large trees for shade and open spaces for sun, spacious pitches on the river, clean sanitary facilities, hot showers. Bakery 200m away, 3 good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, many cycling opportunities. And yes, the church bell every 1/2 hour, but you sleep through that. Unfriendly staff? Didn't notice anything, on the contrary.
lees meerNice on the water, nice (simple) bar with tasty burgers. Nice cycling in the area. we prefer not to be close to the larger groups that are there in high season, but that is certainly possible. Toilet block is mixed which is fine.
