campsite was closed, despite it being May already. (therefore) looked pretty desolate. I don't know how the atmosphere would feel if there was more life

excellent location to visit Mont Saint Michel but the village is worth a visit with its cathedral the spartan but well kept campsite and what counts most clean sanitary units and the lady at the very kind reception

It's worth it if you go to Mont Saint Michelle. Very cheap, great children's playground, Lidl, correct services.
