Camping de l'Ile

The sanitary facilities (individual cabins, showers, toilets, hot water also for washing up) are more than adequate. Not a “beautiful” campsite. Chosen for Loire à Vélo.

A campsite where you can't expect anything in terms of facilities. Sanitary facilities are far below standard. We give the campsite 2 stars because of its location (near the village and cycle routes along the Loire) and the open location of the camping pitches so that it feels like you're in a park. We had a nice meal in the restaurant across the street from the campsite.

Arrived at reception at 11:30 am. Reception was already closed (at 10:00 am). Were spoken to quite rudely by cleaning staff. Drove to a camper spot at Beaulieux-sur-Loire. Won't be back in Bannay again.
