Aire de Camping-Car La Chapelle Saint Mesmin

We arrived on November 29, 2025 and were informed by a sign in front of the barrier that the site would be closing on November 30, 2025.

October 21-22, 2025 Parking space on the Loire with barrier and ticket machine, also in German, not entirely understandable, enter license plate number, 24 hours approx. €12, tall trees, quiet, water and sewage disposal okay, bus line C2 goes to the center, €2.20 one way, parking space and Orleans recommended, as the campsites are closed.....

Great place to visit Orleans, a quiet spot on the Loire, and a good route to Orleans. Wi-Fi was only available near the entrance, and neither of us had internet access, perhaps because it's situated low down. Rainwater drainage isn't very efficient, leaving large puddles around the campervan.
