Arrived and chose my own spot. Reception (small booth by the barrier) closed and opened at 3:30 PM. Indeed, there are a lot of sloping pitches. It took a bit of searching to find a reasonably straight spot. Sanitary facilities were okay: two showers and two toilets, old but clean. Right on the Loire.

Ideal campsite for those dreaming of peace and quiet on the banks of the Loire. The pitch is available; be careful if you're traveling in a campervan, the terrain isn't level at all, so you have to choose the right spot! All amenities are available, including a washing machine (€4 for the key to unlock the power outlet!)

Nice campsite, very relaxed. Bread service and cold drinks. Directly on the Loire, 15 minutes walk to the village with beautiful abbey, various restaurants, bakers and small local shop.
