Located between Propriano and Filitosa, the Ortu Tesoru or the Treasure Garden, is a 2,500 m² vegetable garden nestled in the heart of the Corsican maquis where we develop several activities in parallel: sustainable agriculture according to the principles of permaculture and agroforestry, education and awareness of biodiversity and its conservation and agritourism The garden is, above all, a place for living, meeting, and sharing. We look forward to welcoming you if you'd like to recharge your batteries in the countryside, immerse yourself in the wilderness, or discover our simple and authentic way of life. We offer you calm and unusual spaces in the heart of nature between forest and garden. The vegetation on the ground is very dense, we are in the heart of a cork oak forest (holm oak and cork forest). You can also see different species of wild trees such as olive trees, pear trees, myrtles, hawthorns, mastic trees... The vegetable garden, for its part, is home to different varieties of fruit trees, vegetables, but also numerous honey-producing flowers, aromatic and medicinal plants. You can also get baskets of fruit and vegetables from the garden or have lunch/dinner in our small plant-based canteen. Activities The garden is located in the heart of the Gulf of Valinco, a micro region that is most preserved and authentic with its wild beaches, coves, seaside or mountain villages, rivers, hiking, canyoning... You will also find a wide choice of restaurants, beach huts and beach bars nearby.
