Camping Saint-Martin

There was no campsite. Although we had called a woman the day before, she said she wouldn't be there herself, but that there was space and we should just find a spot. It looked deserted. The gate was locked, and red and white ribbons were hanging.

Good as a campsite (smaller tents), accessible at most for bus campers. Ground not level plus danger to trees, i.e. low branches (already saw a camper hit an overhanging branch). Sanitary facilities very dated but adequate and clean. Friendly welcome. We were very disappointed with the town.

Very cozy little campsite. Contact each other quickly (if you want). The manager is extremely friendly and does a lot to make you happy. Lovely shower. Barr is a very nice town within walking distance. There is a school right above the campsite, which you can find pleasant or annoying 😉. We had a great time there for 3 nights. And there was room in September!
