Champagne Laurent Etienne - aire de camping car

At the top of the road on the right is a shop and the reception. You'll get the gate code there. They only speak French. Otherwise, a great location with all amenities.

Tried calling first, got answering machine. Drove there anyway, in early January, should be possible, but we stood in front of a closed gate. After ringing the bell, a young man came who only spoke French, the campsite turned out to be closed and so was the campsite he referred us to. eventually arranged something else myself.

Got to gate, only phone numbers but no English or Dutch speaking on the phone, so challenging to get to side. the CP owner did arrive shortly after, the gate is actually broken. Somehow managed. Paid 15€/night not 10€. Sanitary ok, free shower, place to do dishes. place for 4 campers. Not much to do in the area. no walking or cycle paths. But lovely stop over. in the morning fox was SCREAMING right outside of the camper, funny experience.
