Parking

Just to mention that all Cols in the Vosges are forbidden above 3.5 tons. Not mentioned on any site and is a turn-off if you don't know that in advance. You can't go anywhere so no more Vosges for us.

What a great place, to walk, sleep and when the night is clear, enjoy the stars in the dark. no facilities except for your glass and plastic you can get rid of. there is no trash can and unfortunately no public toilet for all those day trippers who come to walk. only when the weather is nice it is really worth parking or staying overnight like us.

Indeed a beautiful view. No problem with uneven terrain. No problems with the nearby road. Just a more than fine spot.
