Parking Condé-sur-l'Escaut

I arrived here Sunday evening and had a very quiet night. You hear a cuckoo here and there :') I was parked here with a number of other campers and, as described, drove on to the furthest parking spot. Good first stop just across the border.

great place to stay overnight. nice spot on the water with picnic tables. no facilities at night. note that you have to drive to the bus parking lot.

Great location near a beautiful nature reserve. Supermarket, bakery and restaurant(s) within walking distance (approx. 10 min.) During the day there is a coming and going of people and that makes sense for such a place. In the evening, however, it is wonderfully quiet, only some water birds that occasionally make some noise. When we were there they were training with rescue dogs, nice to see.
