Aire de Camping-Cars du parc de l Aa

We stayed here on August 16th and 17th, and it was wonderful... By evening, there were around 20 campers there. The night was quiet, except for a certain time when there were motorcycle races. Otherwise, it was safe and pleasant, and not far from Gravelines.

the nights very restless campers drove back and forth in the hope of finding a place, especially English people coming from the ferry

Lovely free Aire with mowed grass, some trees and quiet setting, approx 20 mins from ferry/tunnel. No services at location but dump/fresh area in town. Next to huge outdoor watersports centre with walking paths and possibility of walking into town centre too. Used many times over years and still ideal location en-route to/from channel crossings.
