Camping Huttopia Versailles

Under the trees, lovely in the shade in a great spot on a hard, slightly sandy surface. Sanitary facilities in a beautiful wooden room, practically laid out. Super nice welcome, nice restaurant where we watched football (France-Paraguay ☺️). Busy at the pool with pleasantly heated water. Games for kids at the restaurant. Good train connection to Paris. Nice bakery/patisserie and supermarket within walking distance. TOP! (:

A wonderfully relaxing campsite with spacious pitches and good sanitary facilities. The staff is friendly. The campsite is within cycling distance, 10 minutes, of the Palace of Versailles. You need at least one day to see everything. For a nice and pleasant meal out close to the campsite, restaurant La Clairiére is recommended. From the restaurant, you have a view of a riding arena, where there is plenty to see and do if you love horses.

Nicely laid-out forest campsite. The pitches are ideal in warm weather; it stays a bit cooler under the trees. If it rains, it will be less ideal (mud?). The whole philosophy of Huttopia is: relax and enjoy as a visitor, and you notice this, for example, in the friendliness of the staff. Is there anything that could be improved? Certainly, 2 washing machines is a bit few. The toilet blocks are clean, but just remove the cobwebs and make good coffee!
