We arrived at 8:30 PM on December 29, 2025, and found five policemen in guerrilla gear. When I asked for information, they said no problem. The next day, I asked a Frenchman for explanations, and he told me that there were many gypsy campers inside, mixed in with the tourists. There was probably some feud between them. In fact, in the morning, I saw several campers that had been parked for a long time. How sad. We fled without visiting the city or spending any money.

what is there not to like . £8 , elec, water etc . and most of all an amazing location

Now in March even a busy camper place. Favorable location to visit the center and the abbey. Also nice to cycle to Boudou, view of the Garonne and Tarn. Everything you need as a camper is there, even electricity included in the price.
