We spent two nights in Bรฉnouville, a very nice little village. When the designated area was full, the mayor allowed us to park in the small square at the end of the street (very clean public toilets, outdoor sink, bike repair and inflation service, and free electric bike and scooter charging). It's close to รtretat and its beautiful cliffs, about a 4km walk along a lovely hiking trail accessible to all. I highly recommend it.
A simple parking lot without facilities at a farm. But apparently very popular in busy Normandy, because at 6 p.m. we had the very last spot. Several campers after us had to find somewhere else.
In overcrowded Normandy, we stumbled upon this place for a night. There were no amenities, so no expectations. Nevertheless, it was fine, and somehow even cozy to be right next to our completely self-sufficient German neighbors (with an extra fresh water tank in the garage). Beautiful surroundings for a short walk to the coast.
