Camping du Phare

A wonderfully quiet campsite with spacious pitches. Nice sanitary facilities. Do bring your own toilet paper. Lovely showers with good hot water.

Great campsite within walking distance of Honfleur. In principle, they do not take reservations, so you have to book early during the high season. Toilets and showers are a bit outdated but fine. Do note, however, that most French campsites require you to bring your own toilet paper and the toilets do not have seats. A baker comes by in the morning. We received excellent service at the reception.

They always say how important first impressions are, and this place perfectly illustrates just how true that statement is! The receptionist was so incredibly unmotivated; I would even call her behavior rude! Such behavior is unacceptable! The place itself is clean but absolutely outdated and, in my opinion, not worth the asking price! The toilets were unkempt, without toilet seats or toilet paper! Unacceptable!
