Everywhere "opened" was on the road even on the billboards. Of course quiet time, I understand that but then make known when it is closed. Now 50 km drive for Jan Doedel.

We were the only camper here for two nights in low season and our hosts were exceptionally helpful and charming. The WC/shower was the nicest we had on our 3 week trip and the 3 meals (2 breakfasts, 1 dinner) we ate at the restaurant were delicious. The site is an easy drive to Bayeux and the D Day beaches. We hadn't expected to like Normandy much, but were won over by its friendliness!
