Camping l'Ecrin Nature

Small-scale campsite on a lake. Friendly owners. Beautiful pitches separated by hedges. Hiking and mountain bike trails nearby. Clean sanitary facilities. Housekeeping was provided three times a day during our stay. Bread delivery service is available, and small snacks and drinks can be ordered. During the summer months, there are regular organized activities (including stargazing). We had a wonderful stay. (€21.82, 2 people, campervan, and electricity.)

Beautiful campsite. The owner gives you a warm welcome. Bread service and a plate of "de jour" (a traditional Dutch dish) are delivered to your campervan. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but otherwise, you can use the pool or take a dip in the lake. Cycling to Ambazac is also easy; it's just a 15-minute drive, and there's a large supermarket there too.

Beautiful campsite on Lake Pont Jonas, just outside Ambazac. The owners go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay and are also environmentally conscious, with waste separation, solar-powered lampposts, and so on. The sanitary facilities are excellent, and bread rolls are delivered to the campervan every morning. We stayed for 5 nights for €120, which is more than worth it. There's a small, well-maintained swimming pool, and the lake is right outside the campsite. Highly recommended, in a beautiful setting.
