Europ'Camping

Great campsite, everything's been said before, but to get to the beautiful village (and back) via the inland route and walk around there, it's 10 km further! It's hilly but beautiful.

Stayed for 2 nights. Large shady pitches. Swimming pool, brasserie, large restrooms with somewhat dated but plenty of showers, toilets, etc. Within easy walking distance of a beautiful village.

I expected more from a 4-star campsite. Half the site is filled with mobile homes and safari tents for rent. You can count the number of real campers on one hand, and the price is quite high. The sanitary facilities are basic and outdated. The swimming pool is okay, and there's a bread service. This campsite could do more. The village of Saint Jean is very pretty, a 3km walk through the countryside. The Citadel is a climb; I did a bike ride on my electric bike.
