Camping Les Sables

Very nice campsite! Large pitches, mixed sanitary facilities but ok, two beautiful swimming pools, and arrange your bread before 17:00. Good cycling possibilities, both to the beautiful - must see - La Rochelle (make sure you get on the white gravel path), and the other way, via the well-marked Atlantic cycle route La Vélodyssée (surprisingly nice). Reception open from 09:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00.

Booked by phone but were late, reception was already closed, 18 hours ... At the bar the gate was opened and the next morning everything was arranged! Everyone is very friendly! We were very surprised by the location on the sea and instead of 2 nights we later booked 2 nights! Excellent sanitary facilities, lots of greenery with places in the sun or half shade. Cycle path to La Rochelle is fine! There is a bread service. Had a nice stay, au revoir!

There is not much to complain about, but only 3 stars because the campsite had no "atmosphere". Too bad. We left earlier than planned.
