Camping Le Pavillon Royal

Fine campsite but quite pricey. €53 per night in September seems a bit much to me! Strange layout. Showers and toilets in separate buildings located far apart. Very friendly lady at the reception.

This is certainly not a 5-star campsite; a lot still needs to be done for that. A lot of overdue maintenance, broken lights, broken stairs, no toilet lids. In the shower, you have to press the button every 10 seconds, etc. Unfortunately, it is billed as a 5-star campsite. Too expensive, therefore. Was nothing good about it? Certainly there was, but if you claim to be 5 stars, that is how you get judged. Staff friendly and speaks good English. Location fantastic.

Great campsite right by the sea, definitely go there! Sanitary facilities good, shop okay, and beach down via a small staircase.
