Chateau du Garde

It is a beautiful, quiet spot among the vines. The owner is a nice, enthusiastic man who does his best to speak English. He also has a handy device, a translation app, so everyone can speak in their own language. We needed electricity; no problem, he arranged that immediately. In the evening there is a wine tasting, and you can also buy wine. We did that too. It comes beautifully packaged in a gift box. Highly recommended is this place.

This campsite is in the middle of the vineyards near Bordeaux. The wine tasting is an added bonus. No shade.

Good location and easily accessible via the highway. Truly a camper site without facilities (only a compost toilet), but perfectly situated among the vineyards. A lovely wine tasting hosted by very nice and enthusiastic people. After one night, we continued our journey with a box full of wine.
