Camping Du Bois Henri IV

Pros: Friendly staff, very spacious site, close to the beach and cycling routes, quiet in the evenings. You can hear the sea. Small shop. You can order bread the day before, and there's a food truck every evening. Showers and toilets are clean but outdated. Cons: Most of the guests are French with seasonal pitches, which makes it look shabby. There's only lighting near the toilets, not the showers. Shower before sunset.

Super friendly owner. Very nice pitches, among the trees, but not too dark. The sanitary facilities are very outdated👎, but very clean👍👍. Dishwashing water was hot once, and lukewarm the next. The showers were lukewarm, which I personally always find annoying, but they did have a good jet. There's a small shop and a different takeaway every evening. I don't know if that's also the case in the low season. We paid 78 euros for 2 nights, which I think is way too expensive for this campsite.
