Aire Municipale Le Pont du Diable

During the day it was a great parking spot (the surroundings are beautiful!), but at night we were attacked by mosquitoes. It was so bad that we drove in the middle of the night to a nearby village. Instead of the indicated €15, we also had to pay €30 (even though we only arrived at 5:00 PM that same evening).

Upon entering there is a large sign with the price per day for a camper €6. The doorman assured us that we would have to pay €6 when we left the car the next day. However, we had to pay €14, the doorman nowhere to be seen of course. Looking at the sign again, it says in tiny print that staying overnight costs €8 extra! And while the sanitary facilities are closed, there is only a large bin for waste. Crappy place!

We were here at the end of May 2019 and spent the night for free, because the shuttle bus to the village did not run. Fantastic environment, good sani column. Few km to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (where we could not go in with our camper due to height restrictions).
