Camping La Marende

A campsite with spacious pitches and good facilities, with friendly staff. We weren't impressed with the restaurant, and the entertainment wasn't our cup of tea, but I understand why it's there. The beach is lovely and wide. Cycling to Collioure and Port-Vendres, and the Tour Madeloc, is worthwhile. We found Argeles-sur-Mer to be busy and very touristy.

The 4 stars are for the campsite. sanitary, animation, swimming pool, everything fine. camping shop ... minimal choice, but center is within walking / cycling distance. Beach.. perfect, with a cozy beach bar. Only €18 pp for a lounger... really?? The only drawback in high season... the Luna Park located next to the campsite in high season. We were here before in 2005, but we won't come back here - in the high season - really.

A beautiful campsite with nice spacious pitches. Nice sanitary facilities, complete with washing machines and dryer. Excellent food in the restaurant with friendly staff. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the beach, even outside the high season. But that has nothing to do with the campsite.
