Camping Les Peupliers

Good campsite. Access is difficult. You reach a bridge where you can't go any further. All the way through fields, crossing unguarded railway tracks, you'll reach the D11 again. Then turn right past a chicken farm on a country lane and cross another unguarded crossing. Hey, we're at the campsite. The best option is to return to the D11; the navigation system will then tell you to turn right at the chicken farm. If you're coming from the A75, it will tell you to turn left. (This isn't allowed; try turning back further.)

A solid campsite. Open all year round. Secure with a barrier. The restaurant is still open. You can also order bread there. A small Carrefour (no meat) is a 5-minute bike ride away. The lack of hot water in the evening was a bit of a disappointment. Cycle along the Canal de Midi to the charming city of Béziers. Don't arrive from Montany (maximum 2.10 m wide crossing).

Customer Service: 5 Cleaning: 2 for the only 3 toilets and 3 showers that are open. Not enough for the entire campsite. The grounds are also very dirty and poorly maintained. No hot water for dishwashing. One washing machine works well, but the dryer is broken. The road to the campsite is a nightmare... we really thought there were no good facilities. This is outdated. Restaurant at the campsite: 5 for food, friendliness, and service.
