Camping-car Park La Cavalerie

we stayed here overnight on november 18th and were with 7 other campers. the overfull containers with a big pile of empty bottles at the entrance. the next morning the burgsn came to ask if everything was okay. ours was but 4 others had been broken into. With little to a lot of damage. Phones, registration certificates, money gone. Nobody noticed anything. Gas? for example we always have the ventilation on recirculation. No air from outside.

Nice place to stay overnight. Many places. Paid as indicated. Neat. Despite being next to the highway, it is quiet at night. Safe feeling. Good for an overnight stay to the south.

32 level, well defined pitches on a hard grit surface. Limited shade around the perimeter formed by patchy insecure hedge row. Next to quite busy road so some traffic noise during the day. Services are located inside the barrier on the track to the pitches, so can cause some congestion to vans both entering and leaving. Tariff €14 for 24hrs with CCP card inc. all services and 6a electric. 72hr maximum stay.
