the place is actually beautifully situated. The walk into town is ambitious but doable. There are also opportunities for the dog to walk. Under no circumstances should you drive to the car park at the train station. Very narrow streets and the place is currently being renovated and has a height restriction. Google "lied"

A practical solution to spare the beautiful village: close to the main road there is a large parking lot where in the summer a shuttle bus picks up the 'camping carists' to take them close to the center. Walking is also possible, but requires a steep descent and climb on the way back. The village is definitely worth it, lovely beach and good food. But in terms of location it is no more than what I said: practical.
